Chapter 5

Ryan headed towards his washroom and looked himself in mirror .

He couldn't believe Mike his best friend has beaten him up at the extend where his nose was clotted with blood and so was his lips.

His hair Was a total mess.

Its just because of her... If Mike never had a soft heart for Madison , he would never have done that to me ...

He thought.

Flashback

Ryan stood in shock he didn't realise when Mike came inside.

"Who are you ?" Diana asked certainly pissed off

"None of your business , go I will call you later"

"But baby..."

"Go" Ryan yelled at her and she headed outside not before giving a death glare at Mike who throw daggers at her with his eyes.

"What the fuck was that?"

"Listen , it is my person life , Mike please stay away from this"

"Not if Madison is involved"

The way Mike yelled made Ryan's eyes shoot up at him, he is being possessive

"Why, do you have a thing for her? How would Kylie take that?" Ryan who was already pissed tried to Piss Mike with his words .

"You are crossing your limit , but let me just tell you something if she cried because of you , I will not spare you"

"Looks like old love is back .. Hah Mike (he pushed mike behind getting pissed ) what about your wife ?"  Ryan was getting agitated why was Mike so concern about his wife .

"About my wife , she is very well aware of the fact that no matter how much Madison hates me I will give up my life in a second for her just like I will give it for my wife

You are mistaking it , she deserve better than you if you can't..."

"What better than me? Like a person like you. ... Who did a bet on her , dude were you even in love with her?"

"I had and will always be in love with her... Did you get that... Don't hurt her" both the men were standing close enough anger blazing in their eyes , for some reason Mike's confession brought a knot in Ryan's chest and

Out of jealousy he did something that actually broke the best friends apart

He punched Mike at his nose , and the moment he did that , he regretted it...

"Fuck... Mike you shouldn't have angered me"

Mike kicked his stomach , punching him furiously over his face , Ryan allowed it he knew he was wrong , he shouldn't have brought his past . Mike may have never showed it to Madison but he suffered after she left and so does Kylie , because of the man she married was in love with another women.

"Why? .... Why are you so hell bend on hurting her?"

"She should have said no , but she didn't" Ryan's voice barely audible came out.

"She doesn't do anything without a reason , Ryan don't spoil it for her , I will die in guilt for destroying her fairytale and knowing that you did the same" Mike sat on ground with tears on his eyes

"Dude , what the fuck happened?" They turn to look at Jared standing there with his jaws drop on ground

Mike stood up and looked at Ryan

"Nothing"

He left leaving both of them

Jared went near Ryan "He saw me with Diana, today"

"Fuck does he know about the plan?"

"No, but he is right , I can talk and know what her problem is ... "

"Remember how I have to convince Mike to get married to Kylie , even though he was bound to runaway with Madison.... I had to Manipulate his mind Ryan" He added

"You are bleeding , can I help with dressing?"

Ryan turn to look at Madison standing with first aid kit in her hand

Closing his eyes he remind himself of his plan ... He will teach her a lesson no matter what

With that he nodded

"Thank you"

"I think , I should be the one to thank you" Ryan told her , putting his best fake smile

"Russell called in the evening , the charity ball has been postponed for next week "

Madison dip cotton with antiseptic and started cleaning his wounds

"Ohh... Fish.. I almost forgot about it"

Ryan found himself getting lost in her face , he saw as her eyes lightly squeeze whenever she put cotton over the wound and how her breathe hitched doing that, he looked at her lips which were blowing soft air , soothing his wounds.

Before he could even notice he held her wrist in his hands

"why are you helping me?"Madison looked at him with a raised eyebrow...

She wanted to counter back but stopped , may be she can make a move towards this marriage she thought and with that she replied

" Because once , we used to be friends , before you people decided to betray me ( with a smirk on her face she added on ) karma is a bitch , you know I end up here" although she said that playfully , she wasn't aware of the fact how negative it sounded to him

"I made chicken , for you come down stair and have dinner"

With that she left him alone  in his room.

Getting inside shower Ryan looked at wall opposite to him , still confused ...

The friend in him said she is not wrong , but she did a lot in past cheating on Mike and acting innocent .... She is an innocent bitch...he thought.

He went down and saw her eating , he joined her silently and whole dinner was in silent and awkwardness.

She left before him and as he head upstair he saw her rooms door was open ajar

As if something happened in him and he went near it

And hear her voice

"Mike ... Mike listen , I don't want to talk about it .. Its late I need to sleep"

Madison listened to what he said

"Madison... You have to listen okay... He may not be a bad guy. But please be safe"

"Don't you have to go... Its late and whatever he wants to do let him do... Until and unless he himself harm me  physically ... And don't think or care about me , you didn't do when you should have ... Please I don't want Kylie to hate me"

Ryan couldn't believe Mike told her about his being cheating , he will ruin his plan....

He called his father

"Dad... I need a vacation , can I take Madison out of country for a week?"

"Ohh .... Sure child , I will handle work till then , I will send you tickets for ..."

"Make it Bali... She loves beaches"

If plan A doesn't work out I have Plan B.....

I will destroy you emotionally Madison and that too very soon

Ryan: I am going out with her , just make Mike understand indirectly to not contact her

Jared: where the fuck are you going, dude?

Ryan: on my honeymoon

Jared : no you can't....

Jared: I mean Mike almost told her about you planning something on her

Ryan: that is why

His phone again beeped but he went for his dear sleep.
