Defeat, Ascension and Preparation

Leader:Let me introduce myself. I am Athanir and these people beside me are Biramid,Berrylion,Barruun and Avaen. I am also the leader of the Gyousei.

Noct: your names it sounds strange is not the name of a Human.

Athanir: You are right we are not humans and we can never be. As for what we are it cannot be disclosed.

Noct: I will take the leader you guys deal with the others.

Athanir: since you are prepared to fight why don't we make things a bit interesting.

Athanir manifest/creates Four different locations by using his mind and sends Noct's companions to the battlefields he had made.

Athanir: With this we will be able to fight one on one.

Noct teleports Infront of Athanir and tried hitting him with his staff mid air but he dodges the spear easily. Athanir suddenly appears Infront of Noct but Noct is able to react in time and move back creating a distance between them.

Noct: This guy he's strong.

Athanir: Hmm creating a distance between you and your opponent is only important when the power gap between you and your opponent are equal but as you can see...

Athanir appears Infront of Noct and places his hands on his chest.

Athanir: I can easily reach you without you noticing it. that's the difference in our power gap. Now then Hum.

There was a sudden explosion which destroyed the surrounding area. Noct suddenly emerges from the smoke and rushes towards Athanir. The fight now becomes much more intense. With Noct engaging in a close range combat and attacking Athanir with all that he has. at first there were flashes of light but as the fight continued the lights became much more faster to the point were no one was able to read their attacks until it collided. Finally Noct is brought down to the ground with Athanir standing on top of him. The moment Noct locked eyes with Athanir, he tried using to use a Genjutsu on Athanir.

That won't work said Athanir as he proceeds to pluck out Noct's Eyes and Run him through with his sword.

Athanir: I thought you would be able to satisfy my urge for battle but I guess I overestimated you. I should just kill you.

As Athanir was about to kill Noct, A familiar face appeared at the battlefield. My Lord I have retrieved the eternal stone, he said.

Athanir: That was fast Yasuke. Thanks to you killing all those low rank deities I was able to absorb their souls.

Y-Yasuke so this what the organisation you talked about Said an extremely weakened and injured Noct.

Yasuke: so you did manage to get stronger Dante. I would like to fight you but we do not have enough time. But the next time we meet I promise to kill you.

Yasuke opens a portal and he and the leader proceed to walk through. Noct tried to stand up and attack the leader one last time but he his hit with an energy blast by Yasuke which creates a hole in his stomach killing him.

Athanir: Did you really have to kill him?

Yasuke: Yes my Lord people like him are the type to never give up and they always come back stronger. is better to kill him now rather than waiting till it becomes too late.

Athanir: You have really grown up. well then let's go back to the hideout they are waiting.

Athanir and Yasuke vanishes from the scene.

At another battle ground before the Gyousei left, Shinsui and Laila were in a battle with Biramid. Although the battle was very intense and they managed to severely damage Biramid, they still lost the fight and were defeated. The same fate was at the other battle grounds.

Finally the Gyousei members left Atlantis and after Athanir left he restored the entire Reality to its original state.

Since Noct was a Clone of Dante although he possessed a fraction of his powers, he was able to heal himself and prevent his death.

With such a devastating lose and defeat despair, fear, anxiety, sorrow, revenge and sadness had filled all of Atlantis and division eight. The families of those who lost their loved ones were the one's who suffered the most.

Although Noct hadn't fully recovered he tried to console Laila but she ignores him and proceeds to the throne room were she locks herself up and let out all her emotions.

the City had become grin happiness eliminated and sorrow and sadness overshadowing it. With the loss of Poseidon who maintained and controlled the seas, various disaster begun occuring sea levels in the Human world begun to rise leading to great floods, Earthquakes begun to generate at various parts of the world, Droughts being formed and Great storms running rampant all across the globe. At this rate the entire Earth would be destroyed. Noct noticed this and tried to tell everyone about what is happening at the Human realm but they were filled with so much emotions that they didn't even give their ears to Noct until..

Noct: Everyone will you all stop drowning in your emotions and stand up and fight. do you think mourning over the dead will bring them back or restore what has happened. Instead of mourning over them why not stand up and fight for what was yours. Right now Atlantis itself is about to collapse and the Mortal Realm is being destroyed but here you are drowning in your emotions.

Then as everyone's heart was about to be moved by Noct's words one of the people from the crowd also gave out s sentence.

Man: Why should we? Do you know what is like to loose someone you love and have everything taking from you huh? What are you even doing here you are a Human maybe is your fault these people came here and destroyed Atlantis. Therefore if your realm is being destroyed so be it.

the entire Crowd begun cheering and protesting agreeing with what the man said.

Noct: How it feels to loose someone you love? What have you bastard even experienced huh. Do you know the people I have lost? Do you know how it feels to have all your friends, family and the one you love murdered right Infront of you? Do you even know how it feels like to be betrayed by your own brother? You bastards do not know a thing about me and what I have been through. You just lost some people and here you are drowning in self hatred and pity whiles I lost many important people but I still decide to move on. If it is about blame then everyone has someone to blame for their problems but what is the essence of blaming someone when you don't take any action? That's why I will never give up. Until this enemy is destroyed and I accomplish my Goals I am never giving up. That's why you guys should do same.

After Saying all this Noct begun to cry due to the rushing of emotions and pent up feeling. Sasuke approaches Noct and tells him that they will also not give up and they will all fight beside him. As Noct turned to look at his friends and they had all stood up with a renewed spirit and a will to fight again.

The entire Crowd and people of Atlantis were all moved by Noct's words and they decided to fight again for their kingdom. The begun Chanting fight!fight! fight! fight!.

Noct and his friends entered the room where Laila had hid herself. Noct approached Laila and bent down towards her.

Noct: Would you stop whimpering and fight for what is yours. after all you are not the type to give up right?

Laila: N-Noct. You are right this isn't the time to be crying and mourning over the dead am going to stand up and fight again.

Noct stands up and extends his hands to Laila to which she gladly accepts. With the renewed spirit, their desire for strength and growth had skyrocketed. Now they had a motivation to get stronger for. After Laila decided to fight again one of his brothers suddenly opened the door and entered the room of Laila and his companions.

Brother said a worried Laila as his brother had been badly injured and was on the brink of death.

Before I die I have something to give to you can you follow me said her brother.

Laila followed his brother into Poseidon's Throne room.

The brother: Father always said that you were the best of all of us Rhode and I guess he was right. Even though everyone had lost their will to fight you were able to unite all of them again and renew their spirit. Is as if he predicted all this that stupid Womanizer.

Laila: What are you trying to say Triton.

Triton: Dad predicted all this would happen but he only told me, Theseus, Azaes and Elasippos. He said if there was any even that he was captured we should give you the seed of Atlantis and his Trident.

Laila: Isn't the seed of Atlantis the essence of this entire realm and contain the power of father.

Triton: Yes all of we siblings poured half of our divine power to create it including father and the main reason was for this day. Laila would you accept the seed of Atlantis and become the new Ruler of the Seas.

Laila: right now the entire world is in danger of being destroyed therefore I don't have much choice. I accept it brother.

Laila touches the seed of Atlantis and then she was sent to the mind world.

In the mind world all of Poseidon's children including himself were present. So the time has finally come huh said Theseus.

Azaes: Hahaha so our Womanizer father was right.

Pegasus: well Rhode the time has finally come my sister

Poseidon: Daughter!

Rhode/Laila: Father

Poseidon: I won't force you but do you want to become the ruler of Atlantis. you won't be able to go back to the life you had before.

Rhode: Yes father! My responsibility lies with Atlantis and its people. Therefore if there's a way to defend my people and also protect the Human realm then I would gladly accept.

Theseus: Before that I have a question for you Rhode. If you had to choose between Atlantis and the human world which one will you pick.

Laila stops for a second and begins thinking before she gives out her answer.

Rhode: When the time comes then I will see what I shall do.

Theseus: hahahaha damn you really got me this time.

Triston: She really outplayed you. If none of you object shall we bestow our power on our sister.

Poseidon and his children all extend their hands at Laila and they all transfer their power upon her.

Laila starts screaming in pain due to the immense power flowing through her. Noct and the rest of the division eight rushes towards where Laila was only to be Marveled by what they saw. Laila was ascending into a goddess. Finally after the transfer was complete there was a loud burst of energy throughout the entire Kingdom. After the smoke was gone everyone was frozen stiff by what the saw. Laila had ascended into a goddess.

Her appearance had completely changed. Hair and eyes had become pure blue, her skin became so much lighter,smooth and silky. She wore a crystal-like crown around her head, her attire had completely changed into that of a true goddess taking the colour of a pure blue ocen with jewelries so beautiful that it couldn't be found anywhere.

Sasuke: Laila what happened.

Laila: I have finally take on my role. I am thankful for all what you guys have done for me, the memories we all shared but sadly this is were it all ends. As a goddess I cannot associate with Humans therefore I am going to remain here at Atlantis and maintain the balance of the realms.

Noct: If that's your decision we are okay with it but don't you dare forget about us you got that and everytime you feel overwhelmed don't bother to call us for help.

Laila: Thank you!

Laila hits her trident on the ground and suddenly all the damages at Atlantis were repaired instantly and the natural disasters which were occuring at the Human world were brought to an end.

Laila: You guys should go and protect your realm and I shall protect mine. May we meet again.

Laila swipes her hands and all her friends are teleported back to the human World.

Goodbye Dante my first love, said Laila as tears run down her cheeks.

After reaching the human World (specifically their Kingdom) they all collapsed due to extreme fatigue and injuries. The Knights of Avilor came to pick them up and send them to the medical centre.

Three weeks Later

Noct had finally woken up from his slumber. He had a slight headache due to all that sleep. He tries getting up but Sasuke enters the room in time and stops him. he asks how he is feeling Before briefing him about what happened at the other kingdoms and boarders.

Sasuke: The impact caused from Poseidon's disappearance dealt a heavy blow to the human World. most of the Kingdoms were destroyed but that is not the important part.

Noct: What is?

Sasuke: It seems as if everything that happened was planned out by that guy. Most of the Knights that were sent to the boarders were slaughtered and now our forces has been greatly reduced. The only reason Avilor wasn't destroyed was due to the king's immense power. As he created a Barrier around the entire Kingdom.

Noct: Is that the important part?

Sasuke: No! The important part is somethings are going to happen very soon. Events that will shake every Realm. The king said we should prepare for whatever happens. Now then you should get some rest and heal up completely there's work to be done.

Sasuke leaves the room.

Noct: You predicted all this didn't you. That's is why you sent me here right Dante?

At the pocket dimension.

Athanir: Poseidon do you know the reason why I didn't kill you?

Poseidon: What was your Reason?

Athanir: as you can see the other Eternal keys were distributed to you, Zeus and Hades. And I can't go to either Olympus or the underworld without being an Olympian therefore I need you to open a gate to that place for me.

Poseidon: Don't bother because I shall never betray my family.

Athanir: oh! you will soon enough.

Athanir leaves the pocket dimension and traps Poseidon in it. At the base of the Gyousei located is a separate dimension, Athanir seats atop his throne with his high council seating next to him.

Athanir: The Golden Dawn is upon us. Very soon we shall take what is rightfully ours and slaughter all of those filthy Humans. The Golden Dawn is upon us.

All the crowd begun Chanting the Golden dawn is upon us.

Athanir: hehehehe the end is nigh
