Chapter 15: Time to settle accounts

Raizor and Lena ended their date by admiring the city view while sitting at the top of a mountain that Raizor knew well, a secluded spot where they could be alone and undisturbed.

After enjoying a pleasant moment together, they returned to the house where Erick and John were waiting for them, needing to speak with Raizor. Upon arrival, Raizor noticed that Erick's clothes were somewhat dirty, catching Lena's attention.

"Raizor, we need to talk to you in private," Erick said seriously, prompting Raizor to agree. Lena remained behind, a bit concerned about their discussion.

"What's going on? Can you tell me?" Raizor inquired as he leaned against a wall, looking at Erick and John intently.

"The details aren't important, nor that we were bleeding," John replied, leaving Raizor curious.

"So, what is important?" Raizor asked after sighing and fixing his gaze on Erick.

"The important thing is that we found the ones responsible for the attacks on the bases in Germany and China, and we also stumbled upon a surprise that might interest you," Erick responded, showing Raizor a video on his phone.

Raizor watched the video, surprised to see that Erick was telling the truth. However, what caught his attention was seeing Jack there, especially after hearing that he knows Raizor's secret. Raizor stopped the video and handed the phone back to Erick.

"Now that you know what we were up to, what's our next move, Raizor?" John asked, observing Raizor's glance towards Lena inside the house.

"One of them is coming for me, so I'll go after her first and finish her," Raizor replied, casting a glance at Erick and John, who smiled but also wondered if it was wise, as such a confrontation might draw the attention of the military and the world.

"Then I suppose we'll stay with Lena," John said, standing up and looking at Raizor, who turned to them, staring fixedly.

"I think I don't need to tell you what will happen if anything happens to Lena," Raizor said grimly, unsettling John a bit, but not Erick, who only smiled and nodded.

Erick and John went back to the house while Raizor glanced at the house, specifically where Lena was. He smiled and then walked a few meters before stopping near a bridge.

"Unlucky me, I have to fight a girl," Raizor said, looking towards the end of the bridge where a girl stood, smiling. She attempted to punch him, but missed, hitting the ground instead.

"Nice reflexes, Raizor," the girl said with a smile, as Raizor dodged her punch.

"I'm surprised you came so quickly. Although I'd prefer to fight somewhere else," Raizor said, eyeing the girl who grinned sadistically, preparing to attack. However, Raizor vanished from her sight.

"Didn't you hear what I said?" Raizor whispered to the girl, who realized he was behind her too late, receiving a punch that sent her flying to the outskirts of the city.

"Damn, I didn't think he'd hit so hard," the girl muttered, shaken but composed. However, as she looked forward, she saw a red flash approaching her.

The girl barely managed to stop the attack, only to see Raizor appearing in front of her again, dodging her punch just in time.

"Come on, let me see your true strength," Raizor said with a smile, approaching the girl slowly. However, he suddenly stopped and dodged two ice swords before blocking the girl's kick, who then fired a fireball at him.

"She didn't say anything to summon those ice swords and that fireball. This girl is part of that organization working for a country, but what do they want with Lena?" Raizor thought to himself as he got up with a smile, looking at the girl who created sharper ice swords than before, getting into a fighting stance.

"I guess I'll have to get serious," Raizor said with a smile, summoning his sword and getting ready to fight as the girl prepared to attack him.

Meanwhile, back at the house, Lena kept bombarding Erick and John with questions about why they came back with dirty clothes, especially Erick, who, in addition to that, had a sore left ankle and a bit of blood on his right elbow.

"I told you to clean that up and check your ankle, idiot," John said quietly to Erick, who tried to reassure Lena.

"I can hear you, John," Lena said, her voice annoyed, giving them both a glare.

"It's not fair how you're so nice to Raizor, and yet you scold us for just a few scratches," John said with crossed arms, making Lena blush a bit at his words.

"I'm not scolding you; I'm worried that you'll get seriously hurt. Let me see your ankle, Erick," Lena said, looking at Erick, who sat down to let her examine his ankle, which didn't hurt but felt uncomfortable when walking.

At least they managed to distract Lena from worrying too much about Raizor being gone and probably taking a long time. However, Erick still thought about how they hadn't found the other member of their team yet, the one Raizor said had been in the city for some time.

Back to Raizor, the fight began with the girl relentlessly attacking him, but he easily blocked her strikes, surprising her a bit as she realized he wasn't fighting back with full strength.

Raizor engaged in a struggle with the girl, who noticed that he wasn't exerting much force, yet even with that knowledge, she couldn't overpower him.

After breaking free from the struggle, the girl was sent flying backward by Raizor, who then leaped towards her, launching a relentless barrage of attacks that made it difficult for her to block due to his speed and strength.

"Well, I think that's enough," Raizor thought to himself as he stared at the girl, sheathing his sword and standing still as she looked at him seriously.

"Why did you stop?" the girl asked, staring at Raizor, who smiled and put his hands in his pockets.

"Because I can't bring myself to harm a girl, and besides, someone else wants to settle the score with you," Raizor replied with a smile, watching as the girl disappeared from his sight only to be kicked by someone else.

"Who the hell are you?" the girl asked as she got up, facing the person who attacked her, realizing it was not just anyone, but Euphi, the member of the Death Spies team.

"Sorry for being late, Captain," Euphi said as she stood in front of Raizor, who smiled upon seeing her, relieved that she didn't have to pretend anymore that she didn't know him.

"I can finally talk to you normally. It's good that you've been here all along, Euphi," Raizor said as Euphi took off her mask, smiling at him.

"Well, I had to fulfill what you asked me to do some time ago, Raizor, but I didn't expect to see each other again so soon," Euphi said with a smile as she glanced at Raizor, who smiled back at her. Then she turned to look at the other girl who was shocked to see Euphi.

"I think it's time to settle the score," Euphi said, looking at the girl with a smile as she drew a dagger, preparing to fight.

After so much waiting, the fourth member of the Death Spies team appeared, much to the surprise of the girl who tried to kill Raizor. The fourth member was Euphi, Lena's best friend and the girl who managed to bring an important figure to his knees.

That person was the general of the United States Army, the only human who could potentially bring about a solution to the war. However, Euphi revealed to the world that he was merely a despicable person who sought power rather than an end to the conflict.

"I'll deal with you, Euphi, and then your precious captain," the girl said with a sadistic smile, looking at Euphi, who also smiled and prepared to fight.

An incredible battle was about to begin.
