Sophia awoke wheezing and gasping for air.

Her neck hurt.

She had fallen asleep like this, slumped against the bed's edge, the laptop still clutched in her hands. The screen was still on. She must have fallen asleep while working.

After coughing, she sat up and took deep breaths, finally feeling more awake.

She carefully slid the laptop from her lap, hoping she hadn't broken it. She placed it on her table and rubbed her neck.

It hurt.

She used the toilet and went back to her room. She sat back on the bed and suddenly flashes of the dream she had just been having filled her mind. It was so real.
