Rex was not a punctilious person and just wanted to ask Jeff to order as he pleased. Rex had been out all year round, and he didn't care much about food.
On second thought, he could be unconcerned about the food, but Amelie was picky. So, Rex handed the menu to Amelie, and he chatted with Jeff.
"How coincidental. I didn't expect to meet you again with a different identity after so many years."
Rex poured himself a glass of liquor and wanted to fill Jeff's glass with it. Unexpectedly, Jeff took out the champagne he brought.
"Rex, different places have different customs. I'll drink some champagne."
Rex did not care. He waved his hand and continued to chat, "Where were you transferred after you were injured? I haven't heard any news."
