Chapter 1:- Not a weak opponent and will never be

Makayla screamed in the middle of an ocean hanging on to the hope that someone might come and save her…..

"Help! Help!! Help me !!!". A half dead man who was trying to save himself in the ocean heard her cries saw her and pity for the poor little girl who still had hope that someone might save her and decided if he fate was to die in the ocean he should just muster his last strength and save her.

On approaching her, she was already losing hope and drowning " hey!! Hang on ". Makayla tries to keep her eyes open to see her savior but she could only see a tattooed dragon on his arm before passing out.

Khalid saw an island up ahead and decided he should take her there till she wakes up. As soon as he got to the island he dropped Makayla and a few seconds later passes out.

An Hour Later....

Khalid wakes up and still finds an unconscious Makayla on the island he goes towards her and finds out she has a fever and some bruises on. As an expert in a lot of fields including medicine, Khalid mumbles to himself "since I've decided to save her, I should probably do it to the end".

He does some first aid treatment for her and makes some herbs and treats her bruises.

After about thirty minutes Makayla wakes up to a fire and some roasted fish. Makayla mutters to herself " it probably is the dragon tattooed arm guy that did all of this but where is he? ". She tries to move and realizes she is wounded but it has also been treated. She smiles shy fully. Makayla 's stomach rumbles so she goes to the fire and takes some fishes and start eating till she was full.

After eating she realized she has to leave the island but because of her condition she cannot swim. She sobs and hopes that by daybreak someone might find her.

In the morning.....

Makayla woke up to the sounds of horns, she got up and noticed a sailing ship so she immediately started screaming at them to come and help her out of the island.

Even after a lot of series of shouting it didn't look like the ship was coming to her aid but she didn't give up and still continued shouting and after a while it looked like someone finally noticed her on the ship because the ship started sailing her way.

She got excited and started waving till the ship arrived the island and a man came down.

"Sir I got lost, could you please help me out the ocean " said Makayla.

" u little...(sighs) how did u even get here" the man said. Makayla couldn't tell him that she got there because she was fooled by the most popular girl in school to come for a boat cruise with the popular kids and used for entertainment and that she was forced to drink a lot of alcohol and thrown into the ocean. So she said nothing instead.

When the sailor knew he was getting nothing out of her he said "anyways hop in, I hope u know ur way home". "Thank you very much sir" said Makayla.

She was so grateful that she was at least able to survive the incident and will also get home too… But she vowed that she will not let them go that easily because she was not a weak opponent and will never be.

In the city…..

Makayla arrived the city and was able to locate her hometown however when she got home she overheard the discussion of her parents.

" Makayla has gone missing for three days now, and now the traffickers are departing this evening so how are we going to sell her and make money if she doesn't return home before this evening " said Ann Makayla's mom. "Don't you even want to know where she has been since, this is not something Makayla can do " said ray Makayla's dad. " why should I care where she goes when she's not even my biological daughter or have you forgotten where we got her from" and said while squinting sarcastically at ray while waiting for his reaction. Ray sighed dejectedly and said " I haven't forgotten and you are right anyways, let's hope she comes back early so u can lure her and sell her so we can pay for Richard's tuition".

Richard is Makayla's younger brother who was very disrespectful, proud and a complete brat. He was turning seventeen this year and Makayla would be turning 18 this year. But with the information she just gathered, Richard is not even related to her at all. This started making her have more questions in her head about herself and she really wanted answers to them especially the most important ones like who are her real parents? Will they have treated her better if they knew she was their child? Are they looking for their child or she was abandoned?....
