"Yes?! No, Sir Cynan! I wouldn't dare!" Hayyoth scampered to give his excuse.
He was alarmed that the knight considered his explanation as an insult. Hayyoth then thought about what he had just said, but he couldn't find out what part of his words was offensive. So, he gazed warily at Marquiss Cynan and waited for his response.
"I know you won't. However, we're not talking about the fact of whether they're alive or not. I was asking with regards to the existence of their wounds that are beyond physical."
