It's time to leave with my husband.

Husband !

How weird it sounds ! I am married now ! God, I am just 18 and I am married already !

Well I am a poor girl, whose father doesn't earns for his family. Brother is dependent for food on his sister. Mother is dependent for everything on her daughter. I guess, getting married is gonna change my life.

I am married to the most rich man in town. He is gonna treat me like a queen !

I should be happy to be a part of his life. Happy that my life is gonna change and I would spend it way better than I am spending now !

But for some unknown reason, I am not feeling any of it. Is my life really gonna change ?

Is it in a better way ?

Does my husband loves me ?

Do I love him ?

Am I happy to be his wife ?

" Hey gorgeous, ready to leave ? "

Petric's voice pulled me out of the train of my thoughts.

" Yeah, ofcourse. Um... Can I ask you for something ? "

I said hesitantly.

" Anything dear, you are my partner now. Everything I have is yours as well ! What do you want ? Just ask for it ! "

Petric said with his warm and charming smile.

" Um... Can I... Can I bring Silvester with me ? Only if you are ok with it ! "

I said.

" Silvester ? Who's that ? "

Petric asked confused.

" My pet. "

I told him.

" A pet ? How come we haven't met yet ? And you didn't mentioned that before. "

Petric asked surprised.

" He is very shy. He doesn't like to meet a lot of people. I tried very hard to get him meet you, but everytime he saw you coming, he ran away.

But, he is a very lovely and lovable cat... "

I wasn't done talking and...

Shane almost screamed and scared the hell out of me. What happened ?

" Ohhhh... "

I flinched at the pitch of his voice.

" Shane, you scared my wife ! "

Petric said wrapping his arm around me.

" I am so sorry mam, but you can't bring him with you ! "

Shane said heartlessly.

Ouch ! That's very insulting. Why can't I ? He didn't do anything wrong. He didn't scared anyone. He didn't bugged anyone. He was a very good boy. Then why...

" That's not a way to talk to your mam, Shane ! Apologise. "

Petric told Shane to apologise and his words brought me back.

" I am... "

Shane started to apologise to me, but I didn't let him.

" It's ok. There's no need to apologise. I just wanted to... "

I said looking down. Feeling hurt and insulted.

" Oh dear, you broke the heart of my lovely wife, Shane ! That's not fair. I am so sorry for his behaviour, Jenifer.

Just ignore him, you can bring anyone you want with you, including your whole family ! "

Petric said wiping the tiny tear escaped from my eyes.

Does he really mean it ? I think I might lov...

" I am sorry to cut you sir, but that's a cat she is talking about.

You are alergic to cat fur ! It can be very dangerous for your life, to let a cat wander in the house ! "

Shane said being concerned about his sir.

" What ? You are alergic to cat fur ? I didn't know that. Why didn't you tell me ?

Thank you Shane for telling this. I can't be... "

How could he say yes to that ? If I knew he was alergic to cat fur, I wouldn't have asked him this in the first place !

" It's alright dear. We'll take him to the vet every week and get my allergy under control with medicines. "

Petric said insisting on taking him with us.

" No Petric, I can't play with your life ! How can I do that when I know what it's consequences might be ! "

I told him.

" No dear, you've never asked anything from me ! You asked it for the first time, I can't deny that to you. And that too on our wedding day ? Consider it as my gift to you. "

Petric said placing his hand on my shoulder.

" But sir... "

Shane tried to oppose him.

" Shane ! It's nothing compared to the happiness it'll give to her ! She is leaving her home and her family.

There would be no one from her family with her. We'll have to become her family and make her comfortable in her new home and family ! Don't we ? "

Petric tried to convince Shane.

And there goes my heart ! And the answer to the question that, if he really loves me ?

He absolutely does. He is risking his life for my sake. I'll make sure to keep Silvester away from him as much as possible...

And Shane is giving me a death glare ! Did I do something wrong ? Am I supposed to oppose Petric more ? God, I can feel his stabbing eyes on my back !

" Call Silvester. I wanna meet him. At least one time before he gets in his new home and parents. He shouldn't feel all new there, right Shane ? "

Petric said when he caught him glaring at me.

" Yes, sir. "

Shane said unwillingly, unable to refuse his master.

" Um... Are you sure ? I mean... "

I dared a glance at Shane and he is still looking at me like he's gonna kill me any moment now ! His glare literally gave me spine chilling shiver. I can't look at him anymore.

" Yes, very sure. Just call him. "

Petric said grabbing my hand in his warmly.

I hesitatingly looked at Shane...

" Shane stop that ! You are scaring her ! She might think you are some monster she is about to stay with !

I don't want her to think that about you, because you aren't one, now are you ? "

Petric said asking Shane not to give me that look.

He shook his head and took his glaring and threatening eyes off me. Hush, I feel like someone took a huge burden off me.

" Then stop looking like one ! I know you care for me; that's your job ! But, you shouldn't scare her like this. Not on her wedding day.

Be the real you. The caring, loving and beautiful soul you are. Like a big brother to her. You care for me and now, you've got one more person to take care of.

And if you'll scare her like this, how in the hell is she gonna trust you for taking her care ?

She'll think you're gonna hurt her if, she did something ! And I don't want that. She is the wife of your master, you'll fucking show respect to her, got it ? "

Petric said raising his voice a bit.

" Yes, sir.

I am sorry mam.

I got scared at the thought of cat's fur in his presence. It reminded me of the incidence form past and that's why my reaction was more than it required. Please forgive me. "

Shane said apologizing me.

" What incidence ? "

I asked.

" That story is for another time. Now, call Silvester and let's take him to his new home. I hope he likes it. "

Petric said with a smile.

I too hope he likes it. He is very choosy about everything. From food to places and from games to people !

And as if it wasn't enough, my husband is allergic to cat fur ! I don't know how are we gonna live together with all this.

I hope Silvester don't like Petric. He is good boy, if he doesn't like anyone he doesn't even come in sight of that thing or person ! That's the best thing for both of them.

" Silvester ? Baby, come to mama ! Silvester ? "

I called for him.

Ah, there he is, taking his surrounding doubtfully with his ocean blue eyes. I love his fur so much. The most white shade I've ever seen. It's soft almost as silk and very warm.

In cold winter nights, I take him in my arms to warm myself up, as I don't have any blanket . I guess I won't need him for that form now on. I'll be in my husband's arms...

Oh my god, I better stop blushing !

" Come here, baby. "

I called him close to me.

He is scared as hell to be surrounded by this much crowd. He haven't ever been in a crowd.

Ah, he saw me and came running towards me, just like a lost child run towards his mother the moment he sees her.

I picked him up in my arms and caressed him behind his ears. He loves it when I do that. It calms him down.

" Sir no ! "

Out of nowhere, Shane screamed his lungs out.

Huh ? What happened ? When I looked at him...

Petric reached his hand to caresse Silvester and so, Shane screamed to stop him from doing it.

I turned away from Petric so he won't touch him.

" Petric, it's more than enough that, you are letting me take him with me. But, I won't let you touch him. I really don't want you to get sick because of him. "

I said scared for his health.

" Ok, ok fine. I won't touch him. Now, shall we leave ? "

Petric asked Shane.

" The car is ready sir. "

Shane responded.

" Great. Jenifer, I know you must be tired. We'll get you some rest and then we'll go to our honeymoon later. I hope you are ok with it. I mean you won't... "

Petric said scared of hurting my feelings.

" As you wish. You must be tired as well. And I am more excited to get home. I'll be going there after almost 10 years ! "

I said sparkles in my eyes at the memories !

I used to help my parents working there. Petric's grand parents had my family as their servants.

After few years I don't know what happened, but we stopped working there... I stopped working there. I really don't remember what happened !

" Sure, dear. Shane, get the cars ready we are ready to leave now. "

Petric said .

He reached his hand out for me. I grabbed Silvester in my left arm and placed my right hand in his. He grabbed it and squeezed it affectionately. I leaned toward him and wispered,

" I love you, Petric. "

He looked at me, smiled and pressed his lips on my forehead and we got in the decorated car.

A marvelous car which I couldn't afford to even dream of !

Everyone was showering us with petals of roses on our way to the car. It is feeling like a dream to me. I've never expected or dreamed of anything like this ever.

We finally reached home... No.

A Bungalow... No.

A fucking Villa !

My hut is nothing compared to 1/4 th of his garden itself, leave the villa alone !

It is decorated so beautifully with flowers and candles.

Petric was silent during the whole ride. Looking outside the window of his side, never looking at me for even once !

I don't know what is he thinking about.

May be about his work. May be something happened in his company.

He gave me his hand to help me out of the car. Everyone welcomed me with bright smiles and gifts.

" Welcome, mam."

" Congratulations, mam. "

" We are very happy to have you with us, mam. "

And so on.

God, just how many servants are in this hous... Villa !

I didn't count, but I guess about 50 were outside and almost same amount of them inside !

There are less people in my whole village than this Villa have !

I can't grab this much gifts in my hands with Silvester in one arm so, they just had my hand touched to their gifts and took them in a room...

I am guessing my... Our bedroom !

Oh my god ! They brought a cake. Is that really a cake ? The room we are standing is high as hell and the cake is almost half the hight !

I've never seen a cake this gaint ! Who the hell is gonna finish this beast ? I mean, we have q lots of people here... But I am sure they aren't gonna eat this up.

Martha taught me in my grooming classes that, the rich people and their butlers don't eat sweet much. Because they are health conscious and sweet consists a lot of calories.

It's a really pretty cake. A newly weded couple in a garden. The girl is in a light purple; almost liliac and the guy in black. Holding hands and smiling. If I didn't know it is a cake, I would have mistaken it for a real couple !

" Come on dear, time to cut the cake. All gather here. "

Patrick called everyone.

He held my hand and took me to the cake. He grabbed the knife and I grabbed his hand and we cut the cake. He scooped a tiny piece and put it in my mouth....

Mmmmm !

Holy hell !

It literally melted in my mouth. And the taste ? Out if this world ? I've never tasted anything this good before. I should probably stop comparing the food I have had in past, because from now on I am gonna taste mouth watering and out of this world and various dishes.

Sam cut tiny pieces and distributed it among the butlers. And even after that the cake isn't looking like anyone have even touched it, leave alone cutting it !

What the hell are they gonna do with it ? I need to know. My curiosity won't let me sleep all night long...

As if Petric is gonna let me...

" Cathy, can I ask you something ? "

I asked Cathy, my personal butler.

" Anything mam. "

Cathy replied politely.

" Um... What are you people gonna do with this remaining cake ? "

I asked directly.

" If someone came by like, beggar or something they will get it or it's going in the dump. "

Cathy said casually.

I screamed louder than I intended to. Now everyone is looking at me, great !

" What's wrong ? What did you do Cathy ? She is new here... "

After listening to me screaming, Petric rushed towards me. He didn't got what actually happened and started scolding her.

" No sir, I didn't do anything. "

Cathy said scared and panicked.

" Don't lie to me ! "

Petric said.

" She isn't lying. She really didn't do anything. "

I told him. I don't want anyone get scolded because of me on my very first day in the home.

" But I heard you scream ! "

Petric said wrapping his arm around my waist.

" That's because I did ! "

I told him.

" That's what I am asking, what happened ? Why did you scream ? "

Petric said confused.

" Um... Actually... Um... "

I hesitated to tell him why did I screamed.

" She asked me what is gonna happen with the remaining cake and I told her either to beggers or in dump, that's why she screamed sir. "

Cathy answered for me, as I was unable to do so.

" Is something wrong in it ? We should share with the beggers... "

Petric got me wrong. He is thinking I don't want him to share with the poor.

" Dumping shouldn't be even an option ! "

I finally told him what was on my mind. His confused look is telling me, he still don't have any idea of what in the world am I talking about. So, I explained it to him.

"You spent a lot of money on the cake, honey ! We didn't even finished a quarter of quarter of the cake and you are gonna dump that cake ?

That's a waste of food, my dear ! There are several people who don't even get to eat twice a day and we dumping this much...

I couldn't take it.

I am sorry to disturb you. "

I said.

" You didn't disturbed me at all, dear. And you are right, we shouldn't waste this much food.

Shane, make sure to distribute this cake among the needy ones, ok ? "

Petric told him.

" Yes sure, sir. "

Shane said.

" I am sorry... Did I embrassed you Petric ? Please forgive me if I did. "

I said guiltily. Though, I was right but, everyone is eyeing me as if I was insane. So, that means it was very common here to throw food away and me saying about saving it brought that look on their faces !

So, I thought I embrassed him by taking like the poor I was !

" Ofcourse not, dear. Why would you embarrass me ? It is a very good though. I've never thought about it in this way.

Thank you, you gave us a new direction. It should have stricked my mind. "

Petric said genuinely.

Thank god ! I thought I might have embrassed him. He have been living a rich man's life and me ?

I have spent my life in a hut. Craving for sweets; sometimes craving for food itself !

So, I have a very special respect for food. I know how it feels to go without food for five days straight !

I was lost in my thoughts.

" Mam ? "

Cathy broke my thought train.

" Huh ? "

" Mam, your room is ready. We've decorated with sir's favourite flowers and candles. "

Cathy told me everything was ready as I had asked her.

" Thanks Cathy. You don't know what you have done for me. Thank you so much. "

I thanked her.

" No need to thank me mam, I've already told you, I am your personal butler ! "

Cathy told me.

" Still. You did a favour to me ! "

I told her.

" Shane was the one to do it. He is sir's person butler, he knows him better than anyone. "

Cathy told me.

Shane came to me.

I thanked him.

I know how does it feels to be treated as a trash after serving our master.

Both of them are looking at me like I said something stupid. Looking very surprised at my words.

" You... You want us... To be your family ? Like seriously ? "

Shane was saying as if I had said the impossible.

" Um... Is something wrong in it ? Don't you want to be my family ? "

I asked confused.

" No nothing's wrong in it.

We are butlers, we serve masters don't become their family that's why... "

As the topic came, I suddenly realized I haven't seen him since we entered the house. My baby must be scared in the new place without his mama. How could I do that to him ?

" I took him to his room. As sir is allergic to cat's fur, he better stay away from him and letting Silvester in your room... "

Cathy hesitated at her words.

" I can understand. Can I meet him once ? "

I asked her.

" Mam, that's not even a question ! He is your pet, you have all the rights to meet him, spend time with him without asking or telling anyone about it ! "

Cathy stated the fact !

She took me to his room and I am glad they didn't threw my Silvester in a trash box but gave him a well specious room with many toys and seperate utensils for his food and water.

When I entered the room, he ran to me. He was definitely scared. I scratched behind his ear and started purring comfortably.

I fed him with some cake and put him to sleep in my lap. He loves when I caress him and he feels sleepy and falls asleep very fast.

I put him gently on his soft bed when he fell asleep. Stroked him gently for few moments and then left his room.

When I came out of his room, Cathy took me to my... Our room.

Shane have decorated it pure beautifully !

No other words just beautiful.

The Orchids and Lilies are placed in all the room. The bed is decorated with the red Rose petals.

The soothing scent of the candles occupied the whole room.

I am already getting butterflies in my stomach at the thought of what is going to happen in few moments.

When Petric kissed me today at the altar and my knees went weak, he teased me if, I am this affected by a simple kiss, what is gonna happen to me tonight...

And the night is here.

I am excited as well as scared as hell for what is going to happen ?

I will go crazy with the unknown excitement. If I don't intend to go insane with imagination, I better distract my mind.

Till he gets in the room, let's have a look at the room.

Wow, the window is so big, I can sleep on its counter !

The view outside is breathtaking.

The whole garden, the fountain and the pool surrounded by various colourful trees, bushes, herbs. They are having each and every colour I am aware of !

The door opened.

There is my man !

Smiling at me from the door, with wine bottle in one hand and a gift in other.

Slowly getting close to me.

I am feeling like he is pressing me to the wall with some force without even touching me !

I can't breathe easily. My heart is running wild. My legs are shaking on their own. My plams are sweating. And my chest is heaving up and down as I am breathing forcefully !

Only God knows what the night is holding for me !
