Fight back!
3 days later...
Ender spent the last three days completing daily tasks and getting stronger. And he was feeling it. He started building some muscle and overall getting more attention inside his school. After all, he was dominating in Elemental Knowledge classes.
Not only that, but he managed to level up as well! Every time he levels up he gains one point for every attribute and nothing more. One thing he wasn't that sure about was how to unlock the other locked stats.
There was also the thing that talked to him when he fell off the cliff, but he didn't care at all, it gave him the creeps after all.

If a normal human saw the tasks, he would think that the first two were possible, but the last one was a big challenge anyways. Even the fastest human before the Kobarycs came couldn't do it.
But in this era, everyone could be a god if they wanted to.
Ender woke up at 5 A.M, quickly changed clothes, and left his house. He kept this routine to finish his tasks before school time and was having a good time with them. He always started with the stamina task.
He went towards an abandoned field and started running. He couldn't bring any music or entertainment so it was quite annoying. Nevertheless, it wasn't as bad as one could think as it was just running.
He stopped the second he heard the Ping sound and quickly speed up to finish the speed task, which he also did at that moment.

'Daily Tasks are unbalanced. Easy for strength and stamina but hell for speed, I barely made it.' Ender complained.
But there was nothing he could do. Hell, he was getting free power and was going to complain? He felt dirty from merely mentioning it.
He stopped beating around the bush and went towards his strength spot. Another abandoned building, this time a warehouse.
Most abandoned buildings inside Rook City didn't last for very hold as demolishing them was pretty easy so he needed to take advantage of it. He entered and went towards a fallen metal beam. Ender clutched it with both of his hands and lift it while slightly grunting.
After doing it a second time, he completed the task.

The moment a ping sounded Ender squinted his eyes in confusion as he thought he unlocked everything for today. When he saw that he finally unlocked the Agility trait, he didn't know whether to feel sad or happy, because...

'I should start saving some for this unexpected unlocks... what bad timing.'
After cursing his luck for some minutes, Ender went back towards his house as he still had some time left.
He didn't have any unexpected encounters with his mother or sister as they were both asleep. His father was probably at work because he worked abroad.
Before entering his room, a photo cached his interest. He went towards it and picked it up, instantly recognizing it.
There, his mother and father, along with his sister and himself could be seen posing behind a big amusement park.
His father was the tallest of all of them, with his proud 1,86 meters tall. He had broad shoulders and big muscles because of his intense workout inside his job, after all, he was a miner.
Both he and his mother were seen laughing at the kids in front of her.
Those were Stella and Ender. They both were trying to get in front to be the spotlight but they kept on fighting. Luckily the cameraman didn't care and just took the photo.
Ender watched it indifferently, but a part of him wanted to return to that moment. Sadly, he couldn't.
He left the photo again and went towards his room to take a nap along with Casper.
Some hours later...
Ender entered the school's bathroom after eating the usual free breakfast while also storing half for his cat. He overheard some conversations about him and how he 'suddenly' gained powers and became way stronger than before.
He just chuckled every time he heard so. He also started being more attentive to his surroundings, noticing people looking at him with clear hidden intentions.
Ender didn't know how he did so, maybe it was his Perception stat.
When he emptied his bowels, he took a look at the mirror and found more grey strands of hair along with some red ones.
Now it was a mix between white, grey, and red but he was oblivious as to why it was happening.
'I wonder what is making my hair change colors this fa-'
Bang!
Just before he could finish his thoughts, a sudden force stroke him in his ribs which sent him sliding some meters towards the left.
"Huh? I wasn't expecting you to endure it..." A familiar voice drifted into Ender's ears which made him tense up.
He looked towards the right and saw Derreck standing there caressing his fist. He subconsciously took a step back which increased the boy's confidence. He started walking towards him and slammed Ender to the wall.
"Don't you think you've been getting a little ahead of yourself? Suddenly becoming better than me in Elemental Knowledge sounds kinda vague don't you think so?"
"What do you m-?" Ender quickly asked but got slapped by Derreck and got sent to the ground.
"I make the questions here." He said while searching inside his backpack, "Fuck it, I'm gonna get the Powerfuels, incriminate you and leave."
'Powerfuels... did he think I'm using that?!' Ender thought with surprise.
Powerfuels is a company that makes special injections for Humanycs. These were able to make you jump 50% and maintain it for six hours.
Only people under 300% could use these though, as any other injection that works for Humanycs higher than that needs more powerful chemicals that are considered illegal because of the severe side effects.
"Huh? Why are you storing bread...? Stupid people do stupid things seems like." He said while dropping the bread and destroying it with his foot.
Ender looked at the bread getting shredded before his eyes and he could feel the rage building up.
He didn't want to leave Casper without food and now his only chance of feeding him was gone as he had no money. He quickly got up, not even bothering about the pain in his ribs.
Derreck noticed that he was already standing up. He gave a big and long sigh and threw the bag aside. He knew that by Ender's look, he wanted to beat him up, so he decided to mock him.
"What, the little boy is angry?" He said while pushing him towards the bathroom exit. "C'mon what are you going to do, slap me with those baby hands?"
Derreck started laughing while pushing and slapping Ender.
'Why am I not fighting back?' He thought.
'I'm not afraid of him... so why?'
'This is why I'll be weak forever... so let's go Ender. Fight back.'
Derreck started applying more pressure on his slaps and Ender could feel the irritation on his skin.
'Fight back...' He thought but still couldn't.
Derreck started throwing punches at him while throwing him over to the ground. He even kicked Ender in the mouth making him bleed.
[-3 HP]
'Fight back.'
[Healing is now activated.]
The bleeding in his mouth stopped while Derreck continued throwing powerful kicks. Ender slowly started getting up, trying to not get knocked up by the kicks and punches.
'FIGHT BACK!'
Ender suddenly dashed to his right and threw a punch toward Derreck's gut, which sent him flying toward the toilet, and broke it. Not wasting a moment, he grabbed him by the shirt and threw him towards the sink, breaking a part of it.
Derreck didn't understand what happened, but if he continued like this he might lose against the weak boy. He couldn't even imagine the humiliation.
"You are fucking dead wimp!" Suddenly Derreck's hand was covered in fire and launched a fireball toward Ender. Without thinking much, Ender swerved toward the left dodging it with ease. Derreck continued firing some others but still missed.
'I can sense them... I can easily calculate its trajectory just by looking at his hand...'
Not wasting more time, Ender dashed toward Derreck and gave two powerful punches, one to the stomach and the other to the face. He got stunned by that punch but recovered quicker than Ender thought.
He set his leg on fire and threw a side-ways kick towards Ender who dodged it but still it made him fall on his back.
'Crap!'
"YOU ARE DEAD!"
He covered his entire arm with fire which quickly condensed towards his fist, and Ender knew what was going to happen, 'If that hits me I will be sent to the afterlife!'
[Claws of Fear activated.]
Ender's right index and middle finger got transformed into two big claws and slashed toward Derreck.
Towards his face.
Ender tried changing the trajectory but the claws already pierced him. Both Derreck and Ender stood there, looking at each other in confusion. Suddenly, a black trail appeared leading Ender toward Derreck's face.
'Oh no...'
He expected Derreck's face to fall apart but instead, only two black marks appeared which quickly vanished over a slight black smoke. The fire disappeared and Derreck touched his face slowly. He looked at his fingers and started getting distressed.
"What did you do..."
Ender looked at him while deactivating his claws, he tried saying something but Derreck started shouting, "It's bleeding! My face is bleeding! You cut my face!" He started screaming in pain while holding his face with both hands.
His face started getting extremely pale while continuously shouting. Ender on the other hand started walking around while sweating like crazy...
'I fucked up... I'm so dead.'
The situation was so messed up that Ender didn't even hear the ping sound and the green hologram...

Mr. Dan was sitting in the surveillance room while taking a coffee break. It wasn't his usual job but he decided to take over the shift.
He noticed Derreck and Ender's fight long ago but his instincts advised him just to watch the camera. Ender started getting beaten up and Mr. Dan was really worried, but he was somewhat expecting it.
But suddenly, Ender started fighting back and winning. Mr. Dan almost threw the coffee and watched the camera with diligence trying to analyze everything. When Ender created those two black claws, he shivered just from watching them.
He quickly cut that part from the recording and went straight toward the bathroom.
"I was right... you might have a second chance..." He smiled.
