9 _ The Dungeons.

Jian lay on his chest , her bare breasts rubbing against his rib cage. Lucian stared at the Crystalline curtains absent mindedly and She noticed this. She stroked his smooth and hairless chest and sighed. "What are you thinking about again , Lucian?" She questioned.

"Nothing." He nodded off and kissed her hands which made her smile.

"Don't tell me nothing, Lucian . Something's on your mind." Jian lay rested on her elbows, staring at him.

Lucian glanced at her , noting that underneath the Silk sheets she wrapped around her chest, her breasts lay soft.

"I fell off my horse while riding with Hikaru today. Seemed like I hit my head against a rock." He confessed stroking her smooth back.

Jian pushed herself up and alarm filled her eyes. "Are you okay?" She rubbed his forehead.

He moaned at her stimulating touch but removed her hand. "I'm fine. Just a bruise that some rest can't heal. But it isn't that."

"What is it?" Jian questioned with curiosity.

"I had that vision again." He turned his back towards her.

She caressed his back and moved her hand downwards toward his loins. "Tell me about it." Jian mummured.

Lucian sighed. "I stuck in an endless hallway trying to find my way when glimpsed a bright light. Although I was Feets away I felt it . It was warm and pure. It soothed my soul as I felt all the darkness that had previously harboured within me vanished. Then i saw someone reach out a hand to me. She was a sight to behold. I loved her in that instant and she was..."

Jian smiled into his face . "I know what you're doing."

Lucian was surprised . "What am I doing?"

She scoffed. "I'm that girl aren't I?" Jian used her finger to trace his lips.

Lucian nodded. It wasn't her but what was the use to contradict her? She just said what she always wanted to hear.He kissed her thoroughly and she kissed him back.

Jian shoved off the sheets and sat atop him and moaned in pleasure as he entered her once more. Nights with Lucian were a savoury delight.He gripped her waist as he guided her motions .He fondled her breasts lovingly as she gripped his hair and cried out his name. Jian quivered as his hand ran over her body and expertly tossed her under him.

Hikaru slowly walked through the hallways heading for his quarters. After turning it over in his mind , he decided to speak to Lucian about his earlier behaviour. He went to his Chambers and discovered the door slightly ajar. Hikaru opened it slightly and looked in.

He saw the outline of bodies groaning in indulgence. No doubt Lucian was having a field day with one of his Servants of Chambermaids. Hikaru retreated and this time firmly locked the door behind him.

Li Huang summoned his son by midnight. In the company of his Father's Personal Guard, he was lead to Li Huang chambers. He stood by the door as if he were waiting for a long time. When Lucian finally arrived they did not embrace nor exchange greetings.

Lucian hated his Father with such a fiery passion that if he could , Lucian would stab him a million times and throw him off his own balcony. As he and Li Huang walked to their unknown destination he bespoke in a commanding voice. "You behaved accordingly today , Lu Huang. You are indeed my son."

"I am nothing like you." Lucian snarled.

Li Huang nodded and as they both entered an enclave while some of the Royal guards stayed behind . "This behaviour is certainly the work of your mother . Say whatever you will , but you are most certainly my son , Flesh and Blood ."

The duo kept on moving until they came up to a sort of dungeon. For the entire Twenty years Lucian had been in this Palace , he never knew such a place existed.

Guarding the dungeon, where two Palace guards which Lucian had never seen before. It seemed that they had been protecting this place from intruders for some time now.

With a wave of his hand , Li Huang commanded his Son to wake up the sleeping fools. Lucian tapped one on his shoulders , and he was startled . The guard quickly awoke his companion , Who stumbled up with drool oozing down the side of his face.

"Your majesty." They chorused in union bowing to their Emperor and his Sire.

Li Huang took out a sword from one of his guards Sheath and with unbelievable swiftness, He sliced off one of his ears.

"What was that for!" Lucian challenged his father , taking away the sword from him and Tossing it to the ground.

"They are Guards for a reason." Li Huang said in a chilling voice. " And next time I'll have more than an ear."

The man fell to the ground writhing in agony , while the other slowly backed away in fear of his own life.

The Heartless Emperor dusted his hands against each other and spoke again , now referring to the other Guard. "Did you get anything useful from it today?"

"No Your Highness. "

Lucian was now Curious.

What was this IT they conversed about? A beast? Some other savage animal?

He was now inclined to see for himself. Holding the iron bars of the Jail , he peered into the darkness. At first Lucian could glimpse nothing, until he could finally make out a figure curled into a ball. Upon further in observation, Lucian was to find out that the 'IT' the two men talked about was indeed ..

A human Being!!!

The individual had jaggy, unkempt hair and dirty clothes that haven't been serviced in a while. Instantly , Lucian felt sympathy towards this person.

"Are you alright?" He spoke softly with a voice filled with concern.

The being looked sorrowful at him and then turned away.The individual clothes were threadbare and Lucian could make out visible bruises on his back.

Lucian never knew of the existence of the dungeon nor of this person that had been so inhumanely treated.

Li Huang noticed his Son compassion towards his prisoner and shook his head in disgust. He needed those feelings to be filled and discarded if Lucian was to live up to his destiny.

"Bring it to the Extraction chambers. Maybe it needs some motivation." He said to the guard who obeyed in accordance. Taking out the keys, he fitted them in the lock and went in to retrieve the captive.

Lucian was by his father as they went deeper into the unknown. He was led into a strange room with the strangest of all contraptions he had never seen before.

"What is that?" Lucian asked marveled at the splendid creation.

Li Huang stood and watched as the Guards roughly pushed the feeble being towards the strange machinery and attached all manners of tubes and devices on to the skin of the Prisoner.

The Emperor waved a hand. "Begin."

One of the Royal guards pulled a lever as sparks of electricity shot up and surrounded the machine. The individual began to scream desperately trying to move but to no avail.

The Emperor grinned maliciously .

Oh what pleasure it have him to see one tortured....

What Bliss!

He looked at his son . Lu's face was impassive as he could read nothing.

Just as an Emperor should be.

It kept yelling in agony , whimpering for the pain to end but none was concerned. Lucian couldn't bare it anymore. It was as if a part of his soul was being ripped out over and over again.

It was as if he knew this strange person from somewhere although they had never met.

He moved with great haste towards the being and ended his torment . The individual opened his eyes and looked at Lucian Thankfully for saving him. The prince was shocked to realize it was a girl and nodded in acknowledgment.

Li Huang was furious at this act of insubordination. Raising up his hand , he made to strike the prisoner but Lucian caught it in mid-air.

"Don't harm her." His son said surly.

Li Huang stricken with anger grabbed Lucian and tossed him aside. "You are a disgrace to your precedents and a disappointment to me!"

"All feelings are mutual Father." Lucian retorted.

Li Huang frowned. "This is All that blasted woman's doing..."

"And Do not dare insult my mother."

The emperor motioned to his guards and they held The crowned Prince by the arms. "Your insolence will have its Consequences." He turned to the prisoner who lay on the ground. "Shut it back in the dungeons."

Li Huang turned away from his Son and walked away.
