Haley suddenly attacked Emily, as her powerful legs created a small crater on the floor while she propelled herself forward, with clenched fists and an angered expression, her mouth frothing, eyes totally bloodshot and crimson, with no reasoning behind her gaze—only blind rage.

She growled as she attacked. Emily just stood where she was, not even pretending to be the slightest bit scared. All she could think about was why Haley didn't have control at this moment, as a fist connected with her cheek.

Haley growled in pain as her hand broke, bones sticking out, with blood spraying onto both her and Emily's faces. She immediately backtracked far away from Emily and watched warily.

The blind rage dimmed as something shimmered beneath the rage. Her hand started mending itself, but the pain was still there, and now even fear loomed in the back of her mind.
