Chapter Seventy-Four: Shameless Killer
Seraphina's POV
Elisa had been acting strange, but the fact that she couldn't remember Hardin confirmed my suspicion—she was from the future. From her timeline, Hardin wouldn't be a problem until three years from now. Percy looked at me, probably wondering how I knew.
I held Elisa and Ed close. "Don't worry, Percy. I'll talk to them about not going out. Right now, Hardin is coming after me strongly, and that's why everyone has to be careful. I'll have to apologize properly for that."
Elisa turned to me, then to Percy. She rubbed her neck and chuckled nervously. "There might be something I forgot. Really sorry about that."
Percy just stared at us. I pulled Ed and Elisa back upstairs, my mind racing on how to bring up the topic to Elisa. I could be wrong, and if I was, she might not accept that I was right. Then, I'd end up feeling like a fool.
