Chapter Seventy-One: Panic
(Author's note: Please tell me what you think of the previous chapter. Thank you.)
Seraphina's POV
The thoughts ate me up as my brain kept going off. The men who killed me in my past life were right before me.
My trust in the Lennons faltered, and worse, there was no way to find out what really happened since it hadn't happened yet. I touched my head as it overheated, and Third gave me a concerned look.
I needed to get my act together.
These guys here wouldn't kill me. They didn't even know that they did in my past life. I remembered my resolution in the beginning: all my enemies would be my friends now. I needed them to fight back the real enemy.
That's what I did with Jane—and unknowingly with the Lennons. If I thought hard about it, Alpha Sebastian was also someone I never imagined I'd be on normal terms with. Things were truly not as they seemed.
