Pseudo Princess vs Real Princess KO

Song Xia went to shower at 9 a.m. but actually woke up at 5 a.m. .She had done some exercise in the morning although her body was much stronger after getting powers there was no use being strong on the outside and weak on the inside. After that she started sketching some ideas she wanted to create a modern formal dress that had youthful energy something colourful and dazzling.

She needed to meet Jin Yu at the mall at 10:30 a.m.The plan was to meet by the fountain near the food court and after shopping go for lunch at a restaurant.

After drying her hair Song Xia hunted through her closet for a while before finding an outfit to wear to the mall .She put on a pair of black jeggings ,paired with a long sleeved, ruffled lavender blouse which she accessorized with a thin black leather belt around the waist.She only had two options for shoes which were white sneaker and black pumps and felt that black pumps were more suitable.

Shi Qi as an agent of a modelling agency also had good fashion sense but unfortunately her clothes would not fit Song Xia who was so tall and thin although she had a really good figure it was not comparable to Song Xia's proportions .Shi Qi was still a generous person and told Song Xia to feel free to borrow any of her accessories or bags.

Song Xia choose a dark purple messenger bag from 'Zhong Ling' ,which was a domestic 2nd tier brand that specialized in hand bags,to complement her outfit. Before going out she casually but her hair in a French braid.

She walked to a nearby mall ,it took about 15 minutes and had received many looks along the way .At the mall some of the boys at the mall downright stared at her .The girls were a bit envious but honestly thought she looked more perfect than airbrushed celebrities in magazines. She was tall and her simple but stylish outfit made her look like a model on a catwalk.

Song Xia initially felt awkward because nobody in her last life had given her such admiring looks .In her last life she could be considered cute but she was no drop dead gorgeous beauty .Song Xia's face was exceptionally beautiful but the original Song Xia tried to cover up her looks by any means possible and with her gloomy and insecure temperament not many people really noticed her.

Song Xia might have not been a beauty in her last life but she was a very capable and confident person so she dropped her awkwardness and decided to continue as usual. There was still time before she had to see Jin Yu so she randomly scanned some clothing stores before she found something she liked in the display window.It was a slim fitted white pair of pants with pink and black flowers running down the seams of the legs.It was not from a branded store but a regular clothing store so it was not expensive only about 120 yuan.Then she walked to the fountain looking for Jin Yu.

''Xiao Yu,''Song Xia noticed Jin Yu standing at the fountain waiting for her.Jin Yu turned around when she saw and was stunned when she saw Song Xia .She looked so pretty and confident wearing a bright blouse.It was different from the Song Xia she remembered who was usually wearing all black or dull colours with her hair in a ponytail and looking down at her shoes.

Jin Yu thought it probably was her Aunt Shi Qi's influence that Song Xia was starting to look like a real model. She was glad that Song Xia no longer looked depressed and insecure like she was when she was living with Gao Hong and Luo Jingfei.

''Song Xia you look so pretty today!'' Jin Yu gave her an admiring look and a sweet smile.

''Thank you Xiao Yu, you also look very pretty today.''

Jin Yu did look very pretty today Song Xia was not just complimenting her for the sake of it.She wore a dark blue dress with a white and puple floral print on it.She also had her hair in a bun with a butterfly clip. The dress was gift from her mother for her 16th birthday she had not worn it before because of Song Xia's accident.

They were going to celebrate Jin Yu's birthday after exams which was when Song Xia's accident occurred and Jin Yu did not have the heart to celebrate without her best friend so she waited for this opportunity to dress up and spend time with her friend.

Song Xia also had memory of this instant and wanted to give her a belated birthday gift.She remembered that Jin Yu's phone was stolen and she herself needed a smart phone so she dragged Jin to an electronics shop.

''Xiao Yu ,I never had the chance to get you anything for your birthday so please let me buy you a phone since you need one.''

Jin Yu insisted that she would buy her own phone but decided to give up when Song Xia had insisted.She realized that Song Xia was more stubborn than before.

''Xiao Xia, I think that those phone are too expensive.'' She protested when she saw that the price of the smart phone that Song Xia had picked out for her. She thought at most Song Xia would spend 700 yuan but that phone was worth 1500 yuan .

''Don't worry ,Xiao Yu.I have money in my bank account and I just sincerely want to give someone who is like a sister to me something she needs. ''

Jin Yu knew that Song Xia was from a rich family and did have money but was kicked out of her aunt so she agreed to compromise this time. Never did Shi Qi,Shi Chen nor Jin Yu pry into Song Xia's background or try to exploit her for money therefore the original Song Xia trust them.If Jin Yu had known that after medical expenses Song Xia had only 5000 yuan she would have never agreed to spend her money. Luckily Song Xia made money by selling that vintage jacket so she could afford the phones.

In the end Song Xia spent 4500 yuan on the 2 phones, phone cases and data contract bundle that would give 20GB and 500 free anytime minutes per month. Jin Yu walked out of the shop in a daze a bit surprised at how quickly Song Xia had spent money.

They walked around for a little while before seeing 'Luo Biya' a domestic second tier brand that catered to teenage girls and young women in.It was a bit pricey so Jin Yu would not usually shop there but had been there with her Aunt Shi Qi there before.She would not usually shop there except for special occasions were she would need more stylish clothes .She thought it might be best to get Song Xia one or two outfits from there because of her job as a model as she would need those to impress magazine directors and casting managers.

Song Xia and Jin Yu browsed around 'Luo Biya' before Jin Yu saw a dress that she thought would look great on Song Xia.It was a bright red sheath dress that would show of her narrow waist and long legs.It could be a business type of dress but was not overly formal like business wear.She especially liked the black and gold beading on the neckline that gave a slightly glamourous vibe.

She turned the price tag was surprised .''Yikes! It's 1700 yuan, it's more expensive than a cell phone!'' she said shocked to Song Xia.

A jeering female voice interrupted Song Xia and Jin Yu's conversation. "Well isn't it Jin Yu? Well how dare you step in to this store when you can't afford a dress worth only 1700 yuan. ''

The domineering girl insulting Jin Yu was Tan Niu .She wore a mustard mini dress , bright red lipstick and her whole face was caked in make up making her look much older than her actual age . Her father was a lawyer who was a partner working at the same firm as Jin Yu's mother .He had married Tan Niu's mother who was the head of the firm's cousin after being rejected by Shi Chen in college.

Although Jin Yu's mother was a very talented and hardworking laywer she had not progressed through the ranks because of two reasons one was that she was a women with a child at home and the other was that she had no connections. The boss of 'Feng Shun' was a very chauvinistic man who believed that a women's place was in the home serving her husband and taking care of children and the main reason he hired any woman was because of quotas imposed by the government. That saying he was not a bad man after Jin Yu's husband had died 6 years ago he gave her a few months of paid leave and even adjusted her work load so she could spend more time with her daughter. This was the reason Jin Yu never minded her job as a junior lawyer even though she was more qualified as than some of these senior male lawyers in the firm.

The reason Tan Niu hated Jin Yu was that she was always being compared to Jin Yu by her parents and even other people of 'Feng Shun' firm .They always mentioned how Jin Yu was more beautiful ,smarter ,talented and more well behaved than her .Sometimes her mother insulted her saying that if she were better her father always wouldn't be running to Shi Chen asking her advice on how to raise a child. Her mother disliked Shi Chen but couldn't do anything to her as her cousin was intolerant the women in his family interfering in his business.

''Tan Niu, I don't think it's any of your business whether or not I step into a store.You don't own the store why can't I be here.'' Jin Yu who had grown tired of Tan Niu's antics had said dully.

Tan Niu gave a shrill and high pitched laugh. ''With your mother's meagre salary you can't even afford anything in here .Or have you finally resorted to selling your body and gotten yourself an old sugar daddy.''

Hearing this some people stared at Jin Yu with disdain and disgust. Now Jin Yu felt embrassed and didn't know how defend herself against Tan Niu's false malicious accusations.

Song Xia had always let her friends fight their own battles while supporting from behind but now she could no longer stand Tan Niu'S behavior.

''Oh , I did not know that 'Feng Shun' your uncle's firm paid their laywers so poorly that they could not even afford clothing here.''

Hearing that the crowd more or less understood that the Tan Niu was slandering Jin Yu because Feng Shun was a good and well known law firm in G city.Jin Yu was a bit surprised at how Song Xia was defending her but felt warm at heart that someone had her back.

Tan Niu wanted to swear at the person who spoke up when she noted how gorgeous Song Xia was and her powerful aura.

''I , I ....That's not what I said ...my uncle does pay his laywers well .''

She was deadly afraid that her uncle would hear of this incident and think she was insulting him. Her parents would definitely punish her to go to boarding school for another year.

Shen Xue who had just entered the store slowly walked up to Tan Niu .She was a fiery beauty ,wearing designer combat boots and looked like an action star from a movie . It was as if there was an explosion waiting to happen.

'' Who .....'' before Tan Niu finished her sentence ''Bam''.Shen Xue had slapped Tan Niu across her face.

Tan Niu was stunned into silence and the rest of the store were also surprised by Shen Xue's domineering behaviour. Shen Xue took a silk handkerchief from her jeans pocket before wiping the hand that had slapped Tan Niu.When she noticed the make up residue she let go of the handkerchief amd it dropped to the floor before saying ''Disgusting'' as if referring to Tan Niu's face.

That drove Tan Niu into a mad frenzy ;she let loose a slur of swear words and wanted to hit Shen Xue but was held back by her friend.'' Tan Niu ,let's go now.'' The girl who was with Tan Niu wanted to leave right away especially because she knew who Shen Xue was. Tan Niu could never win against Shen Xue who was the Princess of the Shen family which was in the top 5 richest families in G city.

Almost immediately the store manager came over and said '' We would like ask you to please leave the store as you are causing a disruption or we will call security to escort you out.''

Tan Niu gave another shrilled ,high pitched laugh and tauntingly said to Shen Xue.''Ha!You bitch, aren't you in trouble now. Remember to escort these two out as well !''

The manager looked uncomfortable and said to Tan Niu ,''Actually miss I was talking about you.Please leave.''

Tan Niu was shocked and her friend quickly dragged her out of the shop. When she heard about Shen Xue identity she became pale with fright .Her parents would definitely punish her for offending such a powerful figure .She began to hate Jin Yu even more but conveniently forgot the one that sought trouble first was herself .She was the type of person who never repented and pushed blame onto others.
