The Raven Thief

Born of the wastelands, Spheris Arnadel, a young skilled thief, finds himself subject to a twist of fate when he steals a powerful relic and becomes a Bearer — humans gifted with powers from the Gods. As a punishment for his theft, he is cast into an otherworldly realm alongside other Bearers, where he faces off against monstrous beasts and powerful enemies. Yet, in his determination to return to the Continent and save his dying mother, Spheris is hell-bent on surviving the abyssal world. Even if it means giving his body to the Dark God whose powers he had stolen... even if it means losing all of his humanity.

Welcome to my first WebNovel, The Raven Thief.

First off, I'll like to congratulate myself on successfully doing whatever I did that got you to click on this book to check it out. Surely, it worked. You can comment on this paragraph what it was.

Secondly, I'll like to introduce you to Spheris Arnadel, a self-driven, hardworking, bleak 18 year old boy who rises from stealing in the streets to take care of his mother, to battling numerous beasts in multiple magical realms.

Here are my warnings though: There are little to no clichés in my novel. It is mostly dialogue driven, and carried by characters and deceptive storylines.

The MC is quite smart... well most of the time, sometimes he gets carried away. But in the end, everything he does is for a reason that usually will not show itself in that instant.

He grows to be overpowered, but NO character is reduced to make him look strong. Everyone plays their part, there's no master of all, and he works together with his counterparts to achieve his goals. He gets his ass beaten quite a lot as well, but also has his moments.

He's extremely badass when he wants to be, especially when he's battling beasts. He's also extremely likeable and well... frustrating at times. Remember he's a surviver in the real world, not in the world of magic. I say this so you won't judge him for being naive in some instances when he faces things in the realms.

What did I mean by deceptive storylines? Well, read each arc, but do not trust anything Spheris does until he reveals it at the end of the arc. He's smart, and he usually hides his strategies, not only from the characters but from the readers as well.

Do not let that cunning thief deceive you!

Also, I mean... who wouldn't want to support a newbie author? Mhm? Pizzas, Capsules, Tickets, Dragons, Castles, Gapachons. Anything your gratitude lets you give. If you enjoy the story and want more of it, that gives me motivation!!!

Welcome to TRT, and enjoy.
