• Criss-Crossed

All the way back in Knightmare, the four Beastslayers were still traveling on the surface of the silver river. The sky above them had grown darker, clouds gathering as the last traces of the gray light was slowly fading beyond the horizon.

The calm sea, which had been serene moments ago, was now anticipating what was coming. Ackledge stirred awake from his position, turned around and looked over the horizon, then he stretched his limbs and rubbed his eyes before looking toward Spheris, who still had his hand in the water.

Although he wanted to say something, he decided to allow the young Bearer to continue and regarded Criss with a look. "We getting any closer to land, Criss?"

The large man grunted. "I sense land. I am not sure how close though."
