chapter 17- Rebuilding

The town of Rosemount was slowly rising from the ashes. It was a slow and arduous process, but everyone worked together to bring it back to life. The attack of the dark king had left many buildings in a state of disrepair, but with every passing day, the town looked more and more like its old self.

Even kirito and Gilbert, the once loyal knight/archer to the dark king, couldn't be prouder of the work they were doing now. Ever since they had joined the Heaven's Guerrillas, a group of rebels fighting against the monarchy they have beenfeeling at ease, and were working tirelessly to rebuild the town they had once helped destroy.

It was a beautiful day in Rosemount, and Kirito and his sister Lily were walking towards the town square carrying a large basket of food. The basket was filled with sandwiches, fruits, and sweet treats, all made by Lily's deft hands.

"We should hurry, Arthur," Lily said, her long brown hair whipping in the wind. "We don't want the food to get cold."

Arthur smiled at his little sister. "Don't worry, we have plenty of time. We can take a detour and check out the progress on the north wall."

Lily nodded, her eyes shining with excitement. They had spent the last three months working alongside the other villagers and rebels. while Lily and Arthur had put their culinary skills to good use, making sure that everyone had enough to eat during the long hours of rebuilding.

As they walked towards the north wall they met up with Kirito who couldn't help but feel a surge of pride. The wall was almost complete, and it looked formidable, just like it had before the attack.

Lily gasped as she saw the progress. "Wow, Kirito, it looks amazing! I can't believe you did this!"

Kirito grinned. "We did it together, Lily. It was a team effort."

As they made their way back to the town square, they noticed Lizana, the leader of the Heaven's Guerrillas, overseeing the rebuilding efforts. She had been a vital part of the rebellion, inspiring and leading the rebels into battles against the monarchy.

Lizana noticed Kirito, Arthur and Lily and smiled warmly. "Good work, you three. We couldn't have done this without all of your efforts."

Kirito bowed respectfully. "It was an honor to work alongside you, Lizana."

Lily beamed. "I made some food if you're hungry."

Lizana's eyes twinkled with amusement. "I appreciate the offer, but I have to watch my figure. You should give it to the workers. They've been working extra hard today."

Arthur and Lily nodded, and after bidding Lizana farewell, they made their way towards the workers, providing them with much-needed sustenance.

As the day wore on, Arthur and Lily continued their work, hammering nails and fixing roofs. They worked alongside the other villagers, sharing jokes and laughter, all while rebuilding their home.

Lily's Point of View:

As we walked through the town, I couldn't help but feel proud of my brother. Arthur had come a long way since being filled with griefafter our parents died. I knew he felt guilty for what he happened, but we have made new friends since then.

I had never been much of a fighter, so I did what I could to help with the rebuilding efforts. Cooking was my passion, and I was glad to have a chance to put my skills to use. Everyone seemed to love my food, and it made me happy knowing that I could make a difference in my own way.

As we made our way towards the north wall, I looked up at my brother and smiled. I knew he was strong, both physically and mentally. His unwavering determination had brought us this far, and I had no doubts that we would rebuild Rosemount, no matter how long it took.

Lizana's Point of View:

I watched the townspeople working hard, hammering nails and sawing through wood. They were all tired, but their spirits were high, a testament to their resilience and determination.

I had been fighting against the monarchy for a long time, and this was the first time in my life that I felt true hope. Hope for a better future, where everyone could live free and peacefully.

Arthur and his sister Lily approached me, offering me some food. Their kindness touched my heart, and I was grateful for their efforts in the rebellion.

This was a time for hard work and dedication, but it was also a time for camaraderie and kindness. We were all in this together, united in our goal to rebuild Rosemount and create a better future for ourselves and future generations.

As they worked, the months grew shorter and shorter, until finally, the reconstruction of Rosemount was complete. It was a sight to behold - its towering walls, its vibrant streets, and its peaceful gardens. The Heaven's Guerrillas had done it - they had brought life back to the city.
