On the next day, by being accompanied with his entire entourage, the emperor returned back to Yingtian. Zhu Su, Mu Ying, and a large number of Yunnan provincial officials escorted him.
"Fu Huang, please take care of yourself," Zhu Su said goodbye to the emperor.
The emperor nodded. "You too. I'm waiting for your work."
"Sure, Fu Huang. I will exert all my best efforts, and will make you proud!"
Zhu Su proved his words. Together with his team - they were very solid now - he worked day and night. They "hunted through" Mount Laojun, explored whatever could be explored there. The more they explored, the more kinds of new stuffs they could find. Even Li Heng got bemused with many types of herbs which he did not recognize.
"I've been working as a physician for decades and I just find that I still haven't recognize so many new herbs out there. Yunnan really opened my eyes. Such a blessing I have a chance to come here!" He exclaimed.
Liu Ku smiled cynically, his style of smiling. "Ha, Graybeard, then you should visit Mount Chomolungma * in Tibet, as well as the Gobi Desert in Mongol. You'll be more surprised by the natural diversity and the herbs you will never know."
"Different nature will lead to different conditions." Zhu Su gazed up, face was blown by the breeze in Mount Laojun. "But I am so delighted, to get the opportunity to come here. Thanks to the opportunity, then I can realize this noble purpose."
All regret and sadness Zhu Su suffered at the first time he was being exiled to Yunnan had completely vanished. Perhaps, it was his apathetic and highly focused character whom his father criticized, which now became the positive energy of the prince. He would not dissolve in sadness, it was easy for him to be busy on his passion, and no longer cared about anything else. His passion became his best motivation. Even though he was exiled, even though he was forced to separate from his family, even though he got interfered by the enemy, even though he had to leave a luxurious life, must work hard and thus must live like a messy mountain wanderer - no matter how big the obstacles he must endure, he did not care about it anymore. Now, he only cared for his passion.
Affection and passion, is the most important power for all of us in order to achieve our dream. Although we are smart, but without passion, our mission will fall apart in the middle of our path, because no matter how smart we are, the difficulty will always come to block our way, and without passion, it will feel so suffering to go through the way, and finally, we give up. On the other hand. Even though we are stupid, but if we have passion, we will dare to face all the difficulties bravely, because we have prepared ourselves perfectly for dealing with any obstacles. We are ready to work hard, ready to make sacrifices, and don't even care whether our bodies are wholly injured and covered in blood - our souls, our spirits, are on fire, glazed by our passion. And finally, we achieve success.
Passion can also be contagious. Zhu Su's tremendous enthusiasm, slowly but sure, spread to Li Heng, then to Guo Songmi. To the entire Team of Wellbeing. To Mu Ying, and finally, to everyone involved in Zhu Su's mission.
Never assume that our passion can not touch the human's heart. Those who get used to be antipathy with us, if they keep on watching our passion blazing continuously and never melting away, gradually, they will change their mind, become more respectful to us, and even, perhaps give help to the realization of our passion.
Everything depends on us. Do we have weak mentality, who will give up easily when facing with problems? Or we are strong, do not care about all disruptions blocking our way, thus can change our bad luck into something great?
Zhu Su chose to be a strong person - no. He was basically having a strong mentality. His love for natural science and medical science was so strong he could change his bitter experience into a momentous achievement.
Yes, it was a great achievement in the history of Chinese medical science - or maybe in East Asia; such a memorable historic day, when Xiu Zhen Fang was eventually published a year later.
