Chapter 29

The following day Felicia went to the Jalin Royal Palace and was welcome by Queen Latifa and her son's whom stood standing next to their mother, She bowed her head low to greet Queen Latifa, but Queen Latifa rather have her a warm hug, "You are so welcome to our home my dear, meet my son's, Fedina and Maxuel and my lovely daughter Angela," Queen Latifa introduce her family to Felicia whom bowed her head lower to greet Prince Fedina and his siblings whom stood with their mother to welcome.

"Hi," Prince Maxuel spoked to her first, "Hi" She replied him with a wave as she didn't even know how to communicate with men. Crown Prince Fedina stood non smiling as he scan her in and out accessing all her features, she was beautiful but not compared to Alesa as Alesa would have made a greater queen standing next to him, he thought.

"Come in, can we not continue standing here staring at ourselves," He said and he turned and went back in, not even introducing himself to Felicia.

Felicia felt sour but she kept her pretty face and not act how she felt as she had been used to rejection since her mother sinned against her father.

"Come in my dear, Don't mind my son, Come I will personally show you around the Palace," came the calm soothing words from Queen Latifa as she asked her maids to take Felicia bags upstairs to the new room they had prepared for her as the waited for the evening to fall so as to have the ball celebration of their new princess.

Prince Fedina was the one whom was supposed to show Felicia around the palace so as to spread words quickly that he had found his Queen and there's no hindrance to his coronation, but he cared less about that. His mother did so well in providing a quick bride but she was no match to Alesa, he went upstairs back to his chamber to monitor the Kande Royal palace, it was difficult for him to monitor Alesa as the palace had some hindrance against witches and wizard attack, he couldn't see what Alesa was doing in the Palace, it took him a lot of magic potion to evoke Prince Ali father's image when he had wanted to kill the man and send a strong message to the Kande kingdom, but he knew to well the kingdom and theirs where enemies right from old, now they had what belongs to him and he will rebel against them until he gets what's finally his. He sighed as he watch out the window, his mother was already showing Felicia around the big palace introducing her to few older women whom lived in the Palace and taking her to go see his grand ma, he frowned.

Later in the evening the ball was on with a lot of Royal families in attendance, and the elders in council, it was a ball specially prepared to introduce Felicia as the new Princess of Jalin and next Queen once Prince Fedina is crowned king.

The hall was heavily decorated and flowers were spread all over to beauty the hall room and flourish it with scent. Felicia was dress in a light blue ball gown while she had her hair packed in a ponytail with a lot of decoration and flowers tucked into her hairs, she wore beads round her reck and few bead round her ankles and wrist, it was called the blue eye beads to wish her good lucks in her endeavors. She was ready and waited for her new maid assigned to her by Queen Latifa to come pick her when it was time to introduce her to everyone in the hall room.

Felicia felt her heartbeat rise and fall and she heard the sounds of the slow music and noise coming from the ballroom, she swallowed her nervousness as she waited for her maid, few minutes later her new maid Lucy came into her chamber to call her, "It's time," She said as she help Felicia arrange her gown.

Felicia came down the stairs feeling loots of eyes piercing thru her soul as she came down and walk to the frown view, her maid led her to where Queen Latifa and her son Prince Fedina sat on his throne while the rest watch in aware. Some of the young maiden whom where also royalty had jealous imprinted on their faces as the look jealous of Felicia.

Queen Latifa stood up first and took Felicia hand as she was still the reigning and acting Queen, "I introduce to you all our new Princess, Princess Felicia of Jalin," Queen Latifa spoked as she raise Felicia hands up, the crowd cheered and clapped their hands, some showing excitement to meet the new Princess, while some others managed to smile.

"My Son Crown Prince Fedina is now betrothed to her, and anyone of you who sees her should address her as Princess Felicia of Jalin, is that understood?," questioned Queen Latifa, and the crowd chorus, "Yes Queen mother!,"

"Good," Queen Latifa place down her hands holding Felicia's left hand and went back to her throne seat, before seating down back she spoke, "May the celebration begin!."

The crowd cheers harder, while the whistle blowers blew hard , the soft music begin and the loud drum where beaten, dancers came out to dance and entertain the Royal families, it was indeed an honourable event and Felicia was more that overwhelmed to be called Princess Felicia, soon she will be called Queen, she smiled all thru the event and wished her three sisters where there to witness her joyous moment with her.

Crown Prince Fedina drank thru the night he was angered and tried using the wines and drinks served to calm his annoyance, he didn't want Felicia, even though she was beautiful and tall, she wasn't Alesa, he drank himself to stupor, neither his mother nor his brother's stopped him, after the ball had ended , he was helped to go back to his chamber upstairs as he couldn't walk back on his own.

The Palace guards help him and took him back upstairs to his chamber in the executive ancient home.

"Get away from me you fools, I want Alesa bring Alesa to me!," Prince Fedina rant as the guards help him into his room, they placed him gently on his bed while he staggered to sit up back, he fell back to the side as he had drank so much Alcohol, his shadow guard Melvin came up to him, "My prince you have to calm down and relax as you have drank to much of alcohol."

"Get away from me you fool!, who are you to tell me what to do? get out from my chamber!" He thundered pointing at the door as his hand fell back down, he had never drank so much alcohol and he felt his body lost his stamina as he was falling back to the bed, he lay down back as he tried to calm his energy, he couldn't cry and he was born never to cry but to defeat his enemies.
