"Agent One, are you sure you want to do this alone? Those agents are the best of their agency," one of Laura's former working colleagues asked her.

They agreed to go with her on this mission as their farewell gift, so they weren't charging anything. 

Not only that, they were willing to go to any length with her, but Laura refused any further assistance. This was where the road ended between them as she was in this alone.

"I appreciate your help so far, but if you are caught, you will bring problems to the agency. I already resigned, and I'm on my own."

Her former agents understood her concern. They were not willing to leave the agency anytime soon and had to agree that this was the end of the road for them.

"All the best, Agent One. We shall still linger around. If you need anything, just give us a call."

His words struck a chord in Laura, and she suddenly remembered the last part of her plan.
