Chapter 19 : The Final Countdown

Today was Thursday. In just three days, they were set to capture Jungkook. The past few days had been surprisingly normal. Jimin and Yn's usual bickering and light-hearted conversations continued, punctuated by their shared dinners with the rest of the group.

Each day, Yn went through the motions, engaging in their familiar routines. She and Jimin would argue over trivial matters, laugh, and then reconcile, maintaining the facade of normalcy. At dinner, the group would gather, sharing stories and laughter, their camaraderie hiding the underlying tension.

Behind the scenes, however, Yn, V, and Phoenix worked tirelessly on their master plan. They reviewed every detail, ensuring there were no gaps, no room for failure. Yn woke up to the sound of laughter and conversation drifting through the mansion. It was Sunday, and everyone was present, gathered in the kitchen for breakfast. She made her way downstairs, greeted by the familiar sight of her friends.

"Good morning!" Jimin called out cheerfully as he saw her enter. "Sleep well?"

"Morning, Yn!" Jin added, flipping pancakes with a practiced hand. "You're just in time for breakfast."

Yn smiled, taking a seat at the table. "Morning, everyone. Smells delicious, Jin."

"Thanks," Jin replied with a grin. "I've outdone myself today."

As they ate, the conversation flowed naturally. Jimin and Taehyung were teasing each other about some trivial matter, while Suga and Jin discussed a new recipe they wanted to try. Yn felt a pang of guilt as she looked around at her friends, knowing what was planned for the coming days.

After breakfast, V spoke up, his voice cutting through the chatter. "Hey, should we go watch a movie together today?"

Everyone responded enthusiastically, all except for Jungkook and Yn. "I already have plans," Jungkook said, glancing at Yn with a knowing look.

Yn smiled, recalling the messages they exchanged the night before:

"Heyy Kook, are you free tomorrow?"

"Should we go on a long drive?"

Jungkook [on phone]:

"Yes, I'm free. Okay, no problem."

"Okay, then we will go together. What do you say, Yn?"

"I'm sorry, I also have plans," Yn said now,

causing a chorus of "Ohhhhhhh" from the boys.

"Alright then, leave this couple alone" Jimin said, looking around at the group. "So, should we go?"

"Yeah, I'll fetch the car," V replied, standing up.

As the boys made their way to get ready, Yn and V exchanged a quick glance. They knew the next few hours would be critical. The countdown to capturing Jungkook was ticking down, and they had to ensure everything went according to plan.
