Chapter 1 : The Book

Seonghwa couldn't help but overthink about what happens next to percy jackson and his journey, he just got done reading the whole book series and he was hooked to the storyline and plot.

He sighed heavily, he needs a new book to read and cry about so he can stop thinking about percy jackson and just in time as he was walking in the busy street of seoul, he saw an old woman sitting on the streets with a bunch of books displayed on top of a long maroon colored scarf "woah!" he exclaims in fascination as his gaze landed on what seemed to be like a very old book, judging by its appearance and color. Its pages were of dirty whites and had dry coffee stains in them but nevertheless his eyes illuminated as he reads the first page, it reads 'a story of a pirate king chosen by the god of the sea and a royal prince's journey to end of the aurora' .

He immediately took the heavy book with him and ask for its price but then the old woman grabs his wrist and gripped on them so tight "your life is priceless dear, take it for free as my gift" she says as her silvered hair pops, they were like glowing flowers and Seonghwa would compliment her if only she didn't whisper yell in a creepy tone of her voice "but remember, once you take it, there's no turning back".

Seonghwa shrugged his shoulders, maybe its the old age "aww, that's so sweet of you miss, thank you for this book! bye bye!" he happily walks away from the old woman that soon vanished into thin air without his knowledge.

Upon reaching home, he opened the book and starts to read the story. Its title was in old style of writing in bold font and the pages were wrinkled in a way as if it was abandoned and due to his curiosity, he searched the book up on the hoodle app of his phone and found out the book was actually a century old— a one hundred year old book. It was also stated that there's only one copy left of the original book in South Korea and then it hit him.

He's holding the only left book on his hands and got them for free. His mouth formed an 'O' in surprise "woah what" he mumbled under his breath before he finds the most comfortable seat and actually started to read.

He was already sniffling by the middle of the story, the prince had a very terrible parents and the pressure was too much for him to handle that he resorted to running away from the royal palace.

He was captured by the pirates but they didn't do anything to him when the pirate king, Kim Hongjoong arrives. He was the Captain of the La Preciosidad or The Precious in english, his first mate Song Min Gi was ready to beat the prince but the Captain shoved him back yelling a "do not touch him or i will feed you to the krakens!" and Seonghwa would be lying if he says he didn't let out a squeal.

The prince was described to have a raven hair with a white royal dress suit and he also wore lots of gold from his jewelries to his shoes. The pirates had always love gold and treasure but for the Captain, the prince was his true treasure and he would never, ever trade him for anything in their world. Seonghwa was beyond touched, he wished he had someone who values him as much as the pirate king values the prince— his prince.

As Seonghwa reached fifteen pages left, the story gets more intense with the pirate king swinging on air in his ship as he fights other pirates who were trying to steal the prince away in hopes of returning him back to the palace in exchange for the reward money and gold.

Hongjoong was quite crazy to say the least, he never lets anyone lay a finger on the prince, not after finding out he wasn't just a normal royal prince but a male siren too, which was rare.

He found out one night when the prince was singing in an unknown language, his voice was full of soul and melody. It was a pure bliss to listen to him sing but their little moment was cut short when the navy of the royal palace decided to put a trap on their way to the island of aurora— the island of the truth and next realm.

Hongjoong and his crewmates together, fought the navy guards that even resorted to a shower of bullets and daggers.

The prince knew his voice could do something, so he stood in the middle, shielding the Precious, the Captain and his crewmates.

His voice held some power and he made use of it to protect the love of his life, Kim Hongjoong.

He sang his heart out, until he bled; he sang until he couldn't anymore.

Hongjoong was said to lose his sanity whilst watching the prince collapsed— he screamed in anger, pain and sorrow. He cried until his chest heaves "I.. i can't.. Seonghwa!!" He screamed on top of his lungs that made the sky roar in thunder and the sea shakes while thunder hits.

Hongjoong yelled out his curse, resenting the palace and chanting the god of the sea's name for permission.

"My lord, come and show me your approval, I shall come back to reach my success with my love, and if he were not to be reborn, make me rot in the middle of the sea, I shall return and reach aurora with the same Park Seonghwa even after a hundred years or more! My lord, i ask you to show me that you approve and only then, i can finally rest in peace"

The sea danced in big waves, the storm followed and the thunder became louder each time it came. Hongjoong had carved out his own flesh, his mark on his forearms and threw them along with the prince's body.

If the God of the sea allows it, he shall meet Seonghwa again in his next life or the same life with a different born but the same person.

It was a promise and Hongjoong didn't care anymore, he surrendered himself to the navy letting his crewmates escaped.

He admits the crime he never even committed.

He will wait.

He will always be patient for Seonghwa.

"wow, we even have the same name" he sniffs as he finishes the story and closes the book.

he looks at the time, it reads six in the morning.

"god, i need to sleep, my eyes are so puffy" he sniffs again, before laying down the book on top of his bed table and let sleep take him away.
