Chapter 77

During lunch break, Momo went back to her usual self. I could tell she was trying her best to appear normal and cheerful. Cyrus didn't comment anything about it. He probably already noticed though.

I was worried about Momo, but bringing it up might not have been the best idea at that time. I also acted like usual.

As I unpacked the lunches Ms. Cat made for me and Gene, I remembered something about couples feeding each other lunches.

Could this be a task expected of a couple to do!?

I stabbed a fork into the piece of croquette and brought it near Gene's mouth.

"Say ‘aah'!" I said.

"What are you doing!?" Gene looked shocked.

"Feeding you."

"Right here?"

"Um...Yes?"

Momo and Cyrus kept their eyes on us. They looked very entertained.

Gene was looking red with embarrassment. "Maybe not in public..."

"Aww! He's getting shy!" Momo giggled.

Cyrus also laughed.

"No! Stop!" Gene covered his face.

I laughed awkwardly. "Sorry about that, Gene."
