CHAPTER 37 - FIRST MOVE

PENELOPE THOMPSON POV

8 am when my beshie woke me up because she said that we were going to move to the Royal Palace because they called an Orthopedic to look for my sore ankle. So after we had breakfast, we immediately left.

And when we arrived, we went straight to where the orthopedic doctor was to look at my swollen ankle.

And by God's mercy, nothing bad or serious happened, it was just stress they say that my veins are on the soles of my feet. Maybe it was also caused by the impact on me when I fell off the wave because it was so heavy that I temporarily lost consciousness. But thank God I'm still here, I think I still have a purpose.

Anyways, I also noticed that Ethan wasn't at the villa. I didn't even notice him when we boarded the yacht. Hmm? maybe he was just hiding. Oh, but wait! Why am I looking for him?

"Ms. Thompson?" said the Doctor to Penelope who is staring blankly that time.

"Ms. Thompson!" the Doctor repeated.

"Ah I'm sorry Doc, what is that?" Penelope finally responded.

"Here's the cold compress, apply it every 15 to 20 minutes." the Doctor reminded.

"Okay Doc, thank you," Penelope respond with a smile.

After a while, my Orthopedic left the room then finally my beshie was here!

"Where did you go, beshie?" Penelope asked her friend.

"Sorry, beshie I was not able to inform you because Lucas called me and he was in a hurry. Here they gave us food." Mica responded.

*My eyes roll*

So annoying. She always suddenly disappears. Good thing that she has food with her and mmm... The smell was so appetizing. OMG! It's my favorite! Sinigang (a Filipino dish)!

Without wasting any time, my beshie and I started to eat. Shocks! So delicious! The sourness is just right and then the vegetables are so juicy and fresh, omg so good!

I am so full, burp! I am so sorry diet but today is a cheat day we'll meet again soon. And wow, they also gave us a carbonara. Mmm! Smells so delicious! But I am already full so my beshie ate it and since it was her favorite.

And after we finished our meal, Mr. Lee suddenly came into the room and asks. "Hi, Ms. Thompson. How was your check-up? What's the news?"

"Ohh, Mr. Lee you're here. Uhm, I am fine the Doctor gave me this, a cold compress. Then she's given me some advice as well and she said that I don't have to walk in the meantime so that it heals faster. So we're going to stay here at the small cottage for a while. Don't worry it's not a problem with us, right beshie?" replied Penelope.

"Yup!" Mica responds.

"Okay, that's good to hear. So if you guys need something just call me, okay?" Lucas said with a smile.

"For sure. Thanks, Mr. Lee!" Penelope respond. "So yeah, bye for now as I have to take a bath."

"Ohh really? You can do it by yourself? I think Mics should assist you, right Mics?" Lucas said worriedly.

"Thanks, but no thanks, Mr. Lee. I am good, I am not disabled." Penelope replied with a laugh.

MICA PEREZ POV

Right when my beshie stood up, I immediately get to her and assist right into the bathroom and leave her there as she requested.

So after that, I immediately went back to Lucas.

And when I got back, I saw him looking at the plates that were left on the table. "Wow, even if you don't say it, I noticed that you liked the food that Ethan prepared. Haha! Look that those plates, so clean!" Lucas said with a smile.

"I know right? but it was my beshie who ate it all. So it was Mr. Smith who cooked all of those?" Mica asks and Lucas nods smiling. " Cool, he really got the taste of my beshie so well. Imagine how plenty was that and it was all emptied. Haha!" Mica replied to Lucas.

And for some reason, Lucas just suddenly stares at me. Omg, Lucas Lee! And he's like looking at my mmm... Kissable lips!

"Yes, Lucas?" Mica asks.

And he just suddenly held my hand! Omg, Lucas Lee! Oh no, my heart is beating so fast! "Ahm Mics, thank you for helping my friend. I really appreciate it." Lucas said with a smile.

He's getting closer and I was like, so shy because he's still staring at me. "N-no problem, Lucas." Mica replied with a strange smile.

And he's not done yet! He touched my face and suddenly at my lips.

"Lucas?" Mica said dumbfounded as Lucas touched her lips.

Lucas smiled and said. "Mics, there was white sauce on your lips, look."

"Ahh.. sorry" Mica replied feeling a bit embarrassed.

"Haha! No, It's okay Mics it's cute. You're really like a baby when you eat. Haha!"

"Yeah, because I'm actually a baby," Mica said which made Lucas wonder what Mica means.

"Hmm?" Lucas replied, wondering.

"Yeah? I am your baby, right?" Mica joked which made them both laugh so hard.

Got you, Lucas Lee! You're not the one who knows how to do pick-up lines.

Then later, Lucas finally says goodbye and left because his friend needs him.

"Bye Mics," Lucas said with a wink.

"Bye Lucas," Mica responded blushing.

And so I closed the door slowly. And after that, I screamed quietly and was shaking. I didn't also notice that my beshie saw me doing that crazy stuff and she said. "Hey hey hey! Beshie what's that? Why are you shaking like that? You look so weird! Hahaha! "

"Ah beshie you're here, haha. I am shaking because it's cold. I don't know why It's so cold today. Can't you feel it? It's the wind outside." Mica's excuse.

"Oh, yeah so cold bla bla bla!" Penelope mocking Mica. "So silly, beshie. Hahaha! Come on, your face can't hide it. Hmm. I am already telling you this beshie a lot repeatedly. Once he made you cry, don't ever come to me, okay?" Penelope said with a fake smile while drying out her hair.

"I know that beshie, besides, we're just friends okay? Nothing to worry about."

MEANWHILE...

ETHAN SMITH POV

I was here at the villa and trying to bake a choco muffin which Penelope is craving as per Mica when we met at the restaurant earlier. So I called Lucas because I needed his oven which is in his room at the Royal Palace. I also finished ordering some of the ingredients I need for the choco muffin.

Almost an hour later, finally Lucas made it to the villa with his oven.

"What's up, bro?" Ethan greeted his friend.

"How was Penelope?" Ethan also asks.

"She's good bro, but her ankle was a bit swollen and she's already been treating it with the cold compress. The Doctor also advised her to avoid walking in the meantime and rest her foot, meaning to say they have to stay at the small cottage." Lucas replied.

"Ohh okay, I think 2 to 3 days and she will be fine."

So after Lucas and I talked, I started to mix up the ingredient and prepare the oven for baking.

It took me 2 hours preparing and I am also done taking my shower.

And after that, I was surprised that suddenly Mica was also at our villa. Lucas said that he sent her here so that Mica could give the choco muffin to Penelope.

But I thought of something that I think was a better idea and tell to Mica and Lucas.

"Really Mr. Smith? You will do that?" Mica said in shock at what Ethan said.

"Cool, Ethan. I'm fine with that." Lucas agreed with what Ethan said.

"So, let's go guys?" Ethan happily attracted Mica and Lucas.

"Let's go!"
