/"Come on let's go. I'm taking you home./" Hunter murmured as he tugged me towards his motorcycle.

/"I came here with Jace!/" I tried to argue.

I noticed how his expression hardened. /"Well I don't see him around. Looks like Golden boy abandoned you./"

My eyes scanned the area and Hunter was right, I couldn't find Jace anywhere. I felt a pang of hurt.

How could he bring me here and leave me like this?

/"Get on./" Hunter instructed as he handed me his helmet.

Begrudgingly I put it on and climbed on behind him. I could feel the heat radiating of his body. My heartbeat quickened.

/"Hold on to me baby./" I could practically hear the smirk in his voice.

I rolled my eyes at his back but my arms automatically went around his waist.

/"I thought you were taking me home./" I murmured as I got of the bike.

He'd bought me to the clearing.
