2H 44mins

The moment Vana left Sephra's office with the suitcase in one hand, and his phone in the other hand, he instantly called one of his underlings, one that was directly under him.

"As from this moment, If CEO Devin so much as shifts in his seat I want to know about it, up until he gets up to finally leave for the day…" Vana said into the phone in a deathly serious that showed how important the task he was handing over was, more so when his own life was involved.

For instance, If Devin suddenly decided to leave earlier than usual, when he wasn't prepared and ready then Vana knew he would be stuck with a time bomb one that he would have to carry with him while following Devin's car, which could have dire consequences on him depending on how much time was left on the timer

But if Devin decided to leave later than usual, then he would have to find a way to deliver the suitcase right into his office before the timer was over, with enough time for him to leave without being caught when the damn drug finally activated.

Van walked as quickly as he could, as he made his way out of AQI Corporation.

He got into his car, and placed the suitcase on the seat next to him as easily as one would place a newborn baby, careful to ensure that nothing unexpected happened that would cause it to change or activate.

"3h 21mins…" he muttered to himself, as he began driving in a fashion that was neither too fast nor too slow as he made his way straight to GMD Pharmaceuticals, already calculating the thirty-fourth minutes it would take for him to get there with a small frown on his face.

That was probably the few times he had ever driven at a normal speed in his life compared to his usual speeding ways that were proportional to the tens of speeding tickets on his dashboard.

Everything went pretty smoothly for about twenty minutes until he came to an intersection with a traffic sign, slowing controlling his car to come to a sudden stop even when the orange get ready sign was the one that lit up.

Patiently he counted down the seconds for him until he had to move, smoothly pressing the accelerator to continue his journey.

"3h…" he muttered under his breath when he suddenly heard a screeching sign to his left one that instantly took his breath away as he watched a car speeding towards him, slam noisily on its car breaks finally managing to stop a few inches from his car.

In the blink of an eye, he saw his life flash right in front of his eyes.

The car hits him, sending his car spinning to the side and instantly rendering him unconscious.

The hours it would take for the medics to arrive and transport him to the hospital: all the while keeping his suitcase close to him, with the thought that it was something important.

The hours it might take for him to wake up, or in his case never wake up since the drug would instantly be the reason for his death.

The next moment, the rage that carved itself into every corner of his face was phenomenal, as he gripped the staring having also come to a sudden break as he looked forward and stared at the car, to his side one that had been seconds away from crashing into the front side of his car, or the center if neither of them had stopped.

All Vana wanted to do, was jump out of the car and punch the motherfucker to death or at least break one of his bones so he understood the fucking dangers of speedy on such a civilian road, but he didn't.

"2h 55mins," he mumbled under his breath with gritted teeth, before starting his car, and moving the gear to drive.

The next second he drove off, not even tossing another glance at the driver of the other vehicle that had almost crashed into him, who had gotten down and was already moving towards him with a sorry expression on his face.

"Ten more minutes and I'll be there…" Van sighed with a deep hope in his heart that nothing unexpected happened on the rest of his short journey.

Thankfully for him, everything went well and he finally arrived at GMD, in one piece along with the drug.

"2h 44mins,"

Quickly, the next thing he did after getting out of his car with the suitcase in his hand was to find exactly where Devin's car was parked, which wasn't too difficult after acting and pretending to be one of the company's new drivers.

With the formal back suit he wore, no one suspected him and he easily found the car along with the driver who sat on the bonnet in the parking lot with an unlit cigarette in his mouth, waiting to be called.

Distracting the driver wasn't hard and he had only taken a couple of steps closer to the car when his phone suddenly rang.

He picked it up at that very moment even as he continued moving forward, placing it directly on his right ear while carrying the suitcase to his left, looking every bit like a businessman apart from the deep and heavy scar on his forehead.

"What…" he growled into his phone without actually checking who it was, not daring nit to pick it up in case he missed crucial information.

"He…he's leaving his office…" was the shaky response he got from the other side.

"Are you sure? There can't be any errors…" Vana responded in a serious but slightly worried tone, that that carried the anxiety he felt.

Once he moved the timer, there was no moving it back.

"I made sure…he was almost at the entrance of the foyer of the building before I called you to make sure,"

He had only heard his underling's response when he instantly hissed in anger, realizing that as they spoke, Devin had most likely already stepped out, which was why the driver he had been watching and moving closer to suddenly got off the bonnet he had been sitting on and moved to enter the car.

The next second, he stashed his phone in his pocket not caring whether or not he hung up, as he picked up his pace and ran directly forward, while struggling to change the time on the timer at the same time.

A couple of seconds later, just as the driver slammed his door closed, about to start the car, Vana instantly pulled it open.

Even in his hurry, he gently placed the suitcase gently on top of the car, before grabbing the driver and dragging him out of the car with his two hands clenched around the collar of his inner shirt.

"Wha…WHAT THE HELL?" yelled the stunned driver who was suddenly dragged out by a man who was obviously twice his size.
