Leaving the Estate (1)

"Ok, I will get a carpenter to do it and finish it later today", reply grandfather.

"Thank you, when it is finish I would like to get some fresh air"

"Sure, just tell the steward and he will give you two guards to protect you", say grandfather.

I close my eyes again to indicate the end of our conversation.

"Please ask Suyu to come in when you leave"

Zhiruo looked at his granddaughter and sigh. He then urges his daughter in law to leave and let his granddaughter to rest.

"I am hungry, tell the kitchen maids to cook me something to eat"

"Right away Miss", says Suyu while she bow and hurry outside.

If I remember correctly, I do not have my own kitchen and must eat from the main kitchen. I got to tell mother later that I need my own kitchen. It didn't take long for Suyu to arrive with a bowl of rice congee, fragrant roast duck leg, rice, two loafs of bread and two servant girls trailing behind her. I tried to sit up when one of the servant girl help me up and slowly turn my legs at the edge of the bed while the other and Suyu set up a small table in front of me.

"Towel", I said half an hour later and was handed a wet towel to wipe my hands and water to rinse out my mouth. I realize that the ancients can actually cook very well because everything was so delicious that I finished everything that they had put before me.

I look at the two servants who are standing at aside with their heads bowed.

"Mulan, Yuesu I no longer need you. Both leave and clean up before you go", I said while lying back down in the bed. Mulan, a cute young girl who look no younger than 15 years ran to me and put my feet back on the bed after they all clean up.

Yuesu, did not look as pretty as Mulan but she had very pretty hazel eyes. After they all left, I begin to think what I am going to do. Should I let them know that I am still alive and well. I would love to see their faces when they see me, especially that cousin of mine. I thought while smirking.
