“This crowd isn’t as welcoming as I thought it would be,” King Nil snickered as he reached the front.
“Nil, shut up and be proper,” the woman beside him called Lady Jini, took a jab at the Fox King, “We are here to forge a stronger alliance, not to pick a fight.”
“Right, right,” the Fox King nodded, making a serious face but was actually stifling himself from laughing out loud.
“Crown Prince Luke, it is a great honor to finally present ourselves to your people,” Lady Jini said with a curtsy.
Luke bowed at the lady’s greeting, and replied, “It is the Werewolf Kingdom’s pleasure to have you here and supporting us against a common enemy.”
“Your Highness…”
The Crown Prince turned to his other special guest, and then returned the greeting, “Madam Uniko, I see you have come on your own.”
“Forgive us, Crown Prince Luke. The Hybrids are still a bit wary to come in such places, but never doubt our sincerity to help your cause,” she said.
