Madam Moore helped her daughter dress for the wedding, the dress was rather hard to wear from all the ruffles, but they managed it. It perfectly fit Phoebe, the lace going in all the right areas, it seemed to be laced with golden thread. M. Moore placed the veil on his daughter's head, it seemed to fit perfectly, "I can't believe it, you're already getting married." M. Moore seemed teary eyed and Madam pushed him gently. "At least the groom isn't hiding away because his bride-to-be didn't like the way he combed his hair that morning."
The family laughed, M. Moore spoke up, "Well, it's time to walk Phoebe down the aisle, are you ready?" Phoebe thought for a moment, "Ready as I'll ever be." Phoebe grabbed her flowers and took her father's arm. The two walked down the aisle, the wedding march was playing rather loudly as the end of the aisle seemed miles away.
"You know it's True Love when you touch someone's hand, right?" Phoebe whispered to her father, "Well, it's what I've always thought." M. Moore looked down at her and smiled. They had finally reached the end of the aisle, Phoebe's father went to go find his seat, and left Phoebe with Henri. "Dearly beloved..." The Priest began to say his lines, but Phoebe's mind could not help but wander.
Was she really taking Ella's 'Happily Ever After'? Were her and the Prince supposed to meet that faithful night? What would have happened if her family did not exist? Phoebe's mind started to picture Ella in her place, taking the 'Happily Ever After' Phoebe had always dreamed of.
"...This man as your lawfully wedded husband?" The priest turned to her, "I.." Phoebe trailed off, Ella was at the gates, looking more crazed than ever. Phoebe turned to Henri, she could see Ella running towards them from the corner of her vision, she grabbed the Prince's hand. "I do."
"NO!" Ella screamed, she let out a cry of helplessness, of sadness, a cry of a person who had everything to lose, and yet nothing at the same time. Ella started to scream at Phoebe, "YOU USED THE MAGIC WAND! YOU ARE UNDER A SPELL YOUR HIGHNESS!" More nonsense streamed from her mouth like an ever-flowing river. The guards grabbed her and took her outside, she was going where she was meant to be.
Henri turned back to Phoebe and kissed her with passion, "I knew the moment my eyes connected to yours, that you would be my opposite." Henri confessed once they had broken away from the kiss, "What? Beautiful and stunning?" The Prince chuckled, "No, making both of ourselves more amazing each time we're together." Henri spun Phoebe as she laughed.
In the deepest part of her heart though, she knew it was wrong. Ella sacrificed her sanity to try and be with the Prince, perhaps there would be another reality where Ella got her Prince Charming. For now, Phoebe would have to live in her own reality, where she got her happy ending.
Phoebe whispered to herself, "And they lived 'Happily Ever After.'"
The End
Or is it..?
