Mountain Base

Ziereal stood straight, over the tomb now glistering with vibrant light. Waving his hands over the treasures that now laid beside Fal'Tor, they instantly vanished before he could analyze what they were. Beckoning with his fingers, the stone lid of the tomb levitated off the ground pulling it closer with his mind. It returned to its previous placeholder onto the grave.

Sending a glance towards the sleeping children, he lifted his lips, "This was oddly enjoyable enough. While I do have numerous questions regarding this place, it will seem some of them will be answered the more I travel." He uttered to himself.

"Cooo! Cooo!" The little owl sounded.

Shifting his gaze towards the little one, covered in emerald light, he smiled as some of its feathers began to shift to an emerald hue. "Come, you have had enough," he said with a soft smile.

Flapping her wings, Coo's beady eyes grew haze as she slipped from high above the spider, tumbling down when a powerful force held her body in place. Smiling from a distance, Zireael beckoned with his fingers, pulling the little one into his arms from a great distance.

Noticing its sleep appearance, he placed it upon his head before lifting the other up with his telekinetic ability. Rising off the ground, a mysterious opening suddenly appeared. It was not grand, resembling only a stone entrance.

Shifting his gaze to the statue of Tiamat, he cuffed his hands. Making his way out without hesitation, the young lord traveled for a few hours through a dark cave that appeared to have no life. It was not long before he arrived at the entrance upon a massive rocky mountain blanketed by ice and snow.

It was nighttime, and the moon was glistering with light, bathing the land with its silver glow. Feeling the icy air upon his flesh, Zireael peered into the distance down upon a lake flowing with Astral energy.

"The Lake of Reflection," He muttered, "a two-day journey from here."

Breathing out a breath of frosted air, the young lord oddly felt at home, within the depts of the snow. Lifting one leg at a time, he made his way down the mountain in silence, listening to the chilling winds flow endlessly.

Ignoring terrain with spells, the sun began to rise within the air, leaving the lord with two large dark bags under his eyes. It was quite a shock to him, feeling such exhaustion, but he continued on with each step becoming harder and harder to make.

"You should rest. There is still a day's journey down." Said an ethereal voice within Zireael's mind. "Your body cannot take it."

Ignoring the words of his Master, the pale face of Zireael struggled through without any semblance of human emotions. Consumed by the frosted heat of the ice, that would cause most to shiver and plead to some god. Lord Blackwater stepped through the snow.

"Are you truly not speaking to me? Don't you think you are acting rather childish? I didn't know it was the lair of one of Tiamat's people, but when I did find out, I was locked out."

"I created you," Zireael muttered, "You exist due to my sin, representing one of the great forces known to all. Are you telling me, Tiamat, who is sealed is capable of such?"

"No, but why would I do such a thing... Father."

"Stop your games, Master. I may have created you, but I am definitely not your father. I do not deserve that right." Said Zireael sharply, staggering with each step as the base of the mountains began to come into view.

Shivering at the frigid draft, Zireael continued, " I am now linked with Aurelia, an unfortunate dilemma I am did not consent to. Now this leaves me to think of only one person who has an ability like me."

"Only you can miniplate the weave Zireael. Very few can see it, but it's only you who has such an ability as to manipulate. And even if one could do such a thing, do you know the price they would have to pay? I am not willing to pay such a cost simply by connecting you two. it's just not worth it."

Beginning to struggle to breathe, Zireael sighed, lifting his head towards the misty skies draped in snow, "if one could see the weave, one can know everything. If one could control the weave than

"one is a god." The Master finished in a heavy tone. "Train her; she is special. And should she prove otherwise, finish her? I was quite surprised to see you didn't."

"So was I," Zireael uttered softly, stepping onto the base of the rugged mountain where the air had begun to warm, but the chilling frost still plagued his small childlike body.

Glancing towards the three who were paler than he was, he cursed beneath his breath, having been in his own world to remember others. Placing them down on the ground, Zireael eyed their bodies that had to seem to lose all signs of heat; without much care, he struggled.

They were not his people, his responsible. Aurelia maybe, but not them. Life was hard, and he had already given them enough.

Casting a metallic stare that was colder than the mountain a few meters away, he sat in the lotus position, entering a deep sleep the moment his eyes closed.

Racing away, the sun and moon both rose and fell before a slight twitch of awareness shot from Auralia's fingers. Trembling due to the air pressing against her, a sluggish sneeze echoed. Awaking her from her long slumber. Groaning in pain, her foggy eyes focused on all those around her and the young lord with a little owl upon his head. Wiping her nose, beginning to drip snot, she rubbed her arms. Feeling the goosebumps that seemed never to fade, Aurelia rose to her two feet.

Leaving into the forest, she hastily gathered firewood the best she could, but with her wounds still not fully heal her pace was slow. However, as time began to flicker by, she returned, casting a single firebolt to create some warmth.

"Placing her hands near the fire, a warm glow graced her cheeks, returning a vibrant light to her eyes. Lifting her head in Zireael's direction, she stared. Not in hopes of him noticing her or giving recognition, but if she should trust him.

"You know, Aurelia still hates you."
