"Last night?" Han frowned, he hesitated before he asked, "Did you come to see me last night, Tsunade-sama?"

"Yes." Tsunade nodded, her gaze lazily fixed on Han's expressions, even though she was pretending she was looking at the poor condition of his living arrangements.

"What a bad coincidence, I was out last night and wandering around the village looking for something fun to do." Han said, his face blushing but Tsunade couldn't distinguish if it was because he was lying or because his acting was just that good, "Did you need me for something, Tsunade-sama?"

Tsunade looked at Han and her eyes now fixed on him, she squinted, she was expecting this and it seems like Han will continue to lie unless she threw him off his game.

"You are a good liar, why don't you tell me the truth? What are you afraid of?" Tsunade asked with a slightly ambiguous smile.

"What? What are you talking about Tsunade-sama?" Han looked like he was genuinely confused.

"Brat!" Tsunade suddenly reached out and grabbed Han's collar, she pulled him hard towards her, and looked him straight in the eye, "I watched you dance on top of the lake all night yesterday, now do you have an explanation or not?"

"Uh...that..." Han was a little surprised as he was thinking hard about a way to get out of this mess, He never expected that he would be caught in just three days!

Han actually didn't want to hide anything, he just felt that his current strength was too weak, and considering his feud with the Uchiha clan, so any strength he could hide would be best.

"I'll tell you, calm down...calm down, I didn't mean to lie and manipulate the story Tsunade-sama..." Han awkwardly chuckled as he looked at the cracks in the wooden table.

Tsunade was a good person at heart so Han was not so afraid of her, if it was Orochimaru who found him, then he would have been afraid...

"Don't lie, I'll know, so hurry up and explain!" Tsunade touched her cheek subconsciously with an expressionless look.

"Explain what?" Han asked carefully

"Why do you hide your strength?" Tsunade asked, her face was expressionless but her name was still orange, so Han was sure that she did not consider him a spy at least... well at least not yet, so that's a win!

"Well, it's a long story, let me tell you..." Han carefully started slowly but looking at Tsunade's gritted teeth he hurriedly spoke, "Actually, I really am talentless" Han spoke.

Tsunade's glare intensified so Han hurriedly explained...

"Look, it's all the stuff left behind to me by Koji..." Han had a blank expression as he explained, "It was our secret, whenever he went on a mission out of the village he would leave all his belonging and hide them in this box under the bed."

Han opened the box, the inside of the box was very messy, there were a set of kunai and shuriken lying in there and a couple of scrolls along with around 1000Ryo, Han was hoping Tsunade didn't pick and look at what the scrolls were, he knew one of them was the Fire Release: Fireball Jutsu, but in his memory, he didn't know what the other one was as the Late Han never opened the wooden box.

"I never touched the money he left behind hoping one day he would come back..." Han stopped as he looked away, no matter what he tried he couldn't shed a few tears so this was the best he could do, "I know you don't believe me, I am an orphan, I was born outside of Konoha, no one in Konoha likes me, they think I am trash. And if suddenly I became a little weird and different than what they know, they will suspect me of being a spy, a traitor!" Han spoke in a sullen tone as he lowered his head.

Tsunade was a little overwhelmed as she looked at Han with a complicated expression.

"No one would believe me, so I hid until... I don't know" Han shook his head and stopped speaking.

It was quiet for a while, Tsunade then stood up, she walked around the table to stand beside Han.

As soon as Han looked up, Tsunade stretched out her hand to embrace Han, Tsunade felt a little complicated but she still patted Han on the back lightly, and whispered, "I'll believe you... I'll believe you"

'What the fuck that worked?'

Han was a little stunned as he stiffened in Tsunade's embrace, Tsunade as if predicting his distress hugged him tighter and continued to pat his back.

'I wasn't a psychopath in my previous life was I?'

Using a dead man to effortlessly lie and get out of his predicament...

"Thank you, Tsunade" Han hugged Tsunade's waist with his hands and put his head on Tsunade's shoulder. He quickly changed the way he addressed her and Tsunade didn't pay attention to that.

"I have to go out of Konoha on a mission today, and it will take a few days for me to come back... Go to the Hyuga Clan, you will be safe there, and everything will be okay..." Tsunade said softly.

Han didn't say a word and quietly leaned on Tsunade.

Now that he was not in a lot of danger he realized how good Tusnade smelled...

AN: Okay I'm not gonna lie, this chapter was explained in such a bullshit way in the original story so I just had to change it to make it look more realistic, I mean... never mind I'm not gonna go into the rant, and potential plot holes... So if anyone wants to read the Chinese version, just search 'The Only Player in Naruto' on g_oogle and you would get some results, I wanted to clarify once again while I liked the plot and power progression of this story, I hate the storytelling style so this translation is not a pure translation... you could read an MTL if you want but I don't like too much bashing and some aspects of Chinese writers' writing habits just don't gel with me...
