Chapter 1

Dream hid behind his mother, Puffy. The five year old looked at his mother then at the boy who

was smiling in front of the two with a green wrapped gift. Both of the boys continued looking at

each other. Dream had dirty blonde hair and the other boy had black hair. The unknown boy had

on a red shirt and black pants, he had a white head band on his head. "Dream sweetie!" Puffy

chuckled as she moved her brown and white hair out of her face. Her son's green eyes met up

to the boy's black eyes. You could see the excitement in the little boy's face. Puffy sighed and

bent down to the height of her son facing him. "I know you're scared but please say hello to

him."

Dream nodded and slowly walked to the boy. The boy's smile got bigger as the boy walked to

him. "Happy birthday, Dream!" The boy shouted, Dream's small sheep ears hid from the loud

shouting. "Oh.. Sorry." The boy spoke softer after seeing Dream's reaction. "I'm Sapnap." He

handed the boy his gift. "I know you don't know me but my parents know your mom." Dream

grabbed the present and slowly opened it.

The gift was a wooden sword, with his name covered in it. Dream looked up at Sapnap and

smiled. "Thank you!" He thanked his new friend. The lights began to flicker a bit. Dream looked

at the lights and so did his mother.

"Dream Run!" Puffy pushed her son to the back door with his friend. "You too.." Worry filled her

eyes. Dream woke up in a cold sweat underneath a tent. It's been twelve years since that all

happened and he still had nightmares about that day. He looked at his sleeping friend, which

means it's not even close to morning. Normally Sapnap is awake before the sun even pops up.

Dream laid back down and drifted off to sleep.
