Following the news about the Giants, the room fell silent. 

Marcus did not know how to take the news. He had never heard of such creatures in his life. While not unreasonable, it made less sense if they were truly as big as the Talon claimed them to be. Looking at the King and Lord Treiven, he could tell from their expressions that their reaction was more of concern, rather than confusion. He had no doubt that they were questioning the ability of both themselves and their forces to deal with the threat these creatures posed.

After what felt like an excruciatingly long time, Lord Treiven finally broke the silence.

"So, they clearly have a significant Elemental force that we will have to deal with," he said with a heavy voice, ending the sentence with a sigh. "But, you mentioned they were getting hundreds of human reinforcements every day, too. Can you tell us anything about them?"
