I saw the moon was shining bright and the stars twinkling in the sky, the roads were empty with flickering streetlights and children were playing. I could hear the sound of breeze and the trees swaying in a rhythm, it made me feel euphoric. I was startled by hearing a voice from behind, it was a voice which makes my heart flutter. And in that silent night hearing his voice made me feel like a morning coffee which was deep and addicting. I knew who it was, I turned back and looked at Austin. He wore a white shirt and a black jeans, his thick black and light brown hair was shining as always. As the wind blew through my hair, I tucked it behind my ear. "Beautiful," I heard him saying and when I looked at him I saw him looking at the stars. "Indeed," I replied and finished my juice in one gulp. He was looking only at the stars and admiring them while I was looking at the stars and at him. //I DO NOT OWN THE COVER /// This is my first novel. Hope you guys like it and if possible support me.

Beautiful Bride

"I can't promise but I will try my level best to fulfill my duties as your wife," Jessica promised Austin after he kissed on her fore head.

"You don't have to try anything, all you have to do is to stay with me," he said holding her cold hands.

"I will," she said before they got into the car.

When Jessica arrived home, she saw her mother and her aunt Helen walking in the garden, they were waiting for her.

As soon as she came inside, she walked towards them and hugged them both tightly.

"Where have you been I was worried. Your dad is thinking that you are sleeping in your room," her mother said.

"We went for a drive," she replied.

" You should've stayed in your room, good thing that your father didn't know that you went out Orelse he would've scolded me that I pampered you and you look tired now," her mother said looking at her messy hair.

"Oh Lucy ! when will you understand, the kids are not like us. They wanted to spend time together before their marriage, they went out and there's nothing wrong in it," Helen supported her niece.

Lucy sighed when Helen was supporting her niece. She looked at Jessica and said," be careful while going to your room, don't get caught by your father. Go and take rest. You should look beautiful in the evening."

Jessica nodded and went inside through entrance door.

"You finally came. I was worried, " Jessica's father said in a low voice after holding her hand to bring her to a corner.

"You knew that I went to meet Austin?" she asked her father and saw him nod.

"Yes but your mother doesn't know. I told her that you are sleeping in your room," her father said.

"Go to your room before your mom gets to know about you being out all night because if she gets to know, she'll blame that I pampered you a lot," he added.

Jessica was controlling her laughter. Her parents supported her everytime. Whenever she made a mistake, the couple always blamed eacthother for her mistakes and by the end of the day they used to be normal as if nothing happened. Jessica felt blessed to have such wonderful parents.

After closing her door leaving it half open, Jessica fell on her bed.

She received a text message from Austin.

"Are they angry at you ?"

"No."

She texted him back and dozed off.

When she woke up, she saw Rachel and Justin beside her with half opened eyes.

"Wake up, it's noon. It's your marriage today," Justin said when he saw Jessica moving her hand a little.

Jessica covered her face with a quilt as her cheeks turned pink when she heard Justin's words.

Rachel tickled Jessica and she started to roll on the bed.

"Stop .... Stop it, I'll get up," Jessica said when she felt out of breathe because of Rachel continuous tickles.

"You better," Rachel said pulling her hands away from Jessica.

"You don't want to get late and make Austin wait for you at the altar, do you?" Justin asked her.

"I don't," Jessica shook her head and got down from her bed and took shower.

Jessica's mother stood beside her while Rachel fed food to her. After eating, Helen highlighted her eyes with an eye liner to make her eyes look more beautiful. Jessica wasn't a kind of person who applies heavy makeup, she always liked to be simple since she was a kid. Hence, she didn't apply much makeup.

Her hair was tied into a bun for styling it later, Jessica checked her phone and read Austin's message which made her blush .

*Can't wait to see the beautiful bride who is reading this message.*

*And the beautiful bride is eagerly waiting for the groom to see her*

Jessica texted him back.

"What are you still doing with the phone, we are running late, Jessica." Helen called her to sit in front of the mirror to style her hair.

On the other side,

"Austin!!" Alicia called her son.

"You didn't take bath yet? What are you doing with you phone? Don't tell me you are still working," Alicia said to Austin.

"I was just going," Austin said to his mother when he received a message from Jessica.

He smiled after reading her message. It was obvious for Alicia to tell that the message was from Jessica after noticing his smile.

Austin has been waiting for her to reply since more than an hour even though he knew that he was running out of time. He knew that he would see her in few hours but still he waited for her reply.

"I'm going now," he said and left to take shower putting his phone aside.

Alicia's face brightened after she saw her son's smiling face. In the past seven years, she has never seen him smiling from the bottom of his heart. It was after meeting Jessica again that he started to smile often these days and she felt happy.

Rachel opened Jessica's door when she heard a knock.

"Oh Look! the bridesmaid is here," Rachel said excitedly.

Jessica bent a little and saw Cindy standing in front of the door.

"When is the due date?" Cindy asked Rachel while hugging.

"Next month," Rachel said hugging back.

"Thankyou, Cindy," Jessica said softly.

"I should be the one to thank you for choosing me as you bridesmaid," Cindy said with a warm smile.

A month ago, Jessica texted Cindy on instagram. They exchanged numbers and met the very next week. Jessica told Cindy that she was going to marry Austin.

Cindy was surprised. She knew that Austin was about to get married but she never knew that it was Jessica because Jessica's identity was still not revealed to the public. She never thought that one day her friend would marry the one she loved.

"I'm so happy for you," Cindy said and that was the day when Jessica asked Cindy to be her bridesmaid.

Along with Cindy, there were other two friends of Jessica from her college as her bridesmaids who were getting ready in another room at that time.

Cindy looked at Jessica who was looking beautiful but she felt something was missing.

"Is something wrong?" Jessica asked when she noticed Cindy's changed expression.

"Why didn't you wear a necklace?" Cindy asked her.

"She didn't like any necklace. I even asked her to get it designed but she didn't listen," Rachel complained.

"Give me a second," Cindy said and left the room.

After five minutes, Cindy came back with a box in her hand and opened the box and took out the necklace from it.

"It's beautiful!!"

Jessica exclaimed.

"I designed it for you," Cindy said.

"Thankyou Cindy, that's so sweet of you," Jessica thanked her.

"I love it," Rachel said touching the necklace.

It was a diamond necklace which was simple and beautiful.

That necklace was shining, it made Jessica look more beautiful than before. The necklace added beauty to her charming face.

Jessica came out of her room after getting ready. Jessica's father who saw his beautiful daughter getting down the stairs controlled his tears and didn't let his emotions out. He took her to the car and after she sat in the car, the driver started. Jessica was with her parents in the car holding their hands tightly. Jessica's mother couldn't hold her tears in the car recollecting their memories, her little baby was now going to marry. After they reached to the church her parents got down from the car leaving her alone in the car, even the driver left.

She texted Austin that she reached but there was no reply from him as he was in the church at that time. She sat alone in the car until a man came in and sat in the front seat.

"Aaron?! " she said excitedly.

"Hey beautiful bride!!"

Aaron greeted.

"Why aren't you with Austin?"

"I was with him until now. I just wanted to show you something as your wedding present," he said and gave her his phone to watch a video.

Her eyes widened when she saw the first few seconds of the video.

There was a surprised look on her face while watching it but her facial expressions changed by the end of the video.
