Preparations (1)
After thinking about the novel and how I needed to prepare for future events, I decided that I would be stealing some of the items for growth from some of the other main characters for my own good.
It may seem selfish but because there is no way I will be able to catch up to the main characters or even the normal students in a month's time as my stats are in the G- while most students would be G+ and close to F-, I decided to go the easy way.
Currently, I'm in the not so great parts of the city of Koun, the city is divided into 4 districts, if you were to look at it from above, the city is a circle or in a similar shape, and there seems to be smaller circles inside of it, dividing it into 4 different zones, the most central zone is where the Round Table and the Embers Academy are located as both are centerpieces of human society, not only that but most rich characters such as guild masters or the top 20 live in that zone, there is also a market with the most luxurious of items in the central zone or district 1.
Then there is district 2, which is where most commoners live and is where most of the average people live, and it's actually a great zone to live in. It has many residential homes and a great marketplace with fresh products and more. This place is also home to most gold to platinum ranked guilds, so crime in district 2 is quite low.
Then there is district 3 and also where Kei's house is located, the zone is not crime-filled but it's not as safe as one may think, in these parts most of the people living here are poor and can barely make ends meets. My family is on the upper side of this district but even so, my mother has to work extra hard just to allow me to go to the academy.
District 4, is just a slum, it is filled with dirt poor bastards and some farmers here and there that provide for the inner cities, and the place is not safe whatsoever, even having monsters attacks now and then through cracks on the wall that have not been fixed since years have passed.
While district 3 is filled with mostly poor people but not as poor as those in the slums, it was quite bad but thanks to my skill [Truth Eyes], I thought it might be great to head to the market in district 3 in search for some items or hidden gems.
While I could just head for one of the items that will help the growth of the main characters, I still need some sort of weapon as most of these items are located in dungeons with a low number of monsters.
But before going to the market I suddenly remembered how the money in this world worked, as coins and bills were outdated, the system currently in use is digital cash that is all within your ID in your phone.
by using your phone, you use it to transfer the desired amount to another person's phone and that is how you buy stuff in this world, you are also able to transfer money and all of the normal stuff.
After entering the academy, they will give us smartwatches that will make this whole process easier, as they will allow us to communicate with one another, and buy and transfer money quite easily.
The smartwatch also has access to many things such as the internet and more, the watch is so advanced it even comes with a hologram function.
After thinking about it I grabbed my phone which was on the ground and decided to check how much cash I had.
[Balance: 150 RP]
After checking my balance I let out a sigh, I wonder why I had to be poor both in my previous life and in this life, it is quite sad. While 150 RP might seem like a lot, it is in fact such a low amount that at most it would allow me to buy a cheap meal. RP stands for Round Points which is due to the Round Table being the central figure of humanity.
I didn't want to ask mom for help so I decided that this would be enough and went to bed as it was already quite late into the night.
The next morning, I woke up to the sound of my alarm, after turning it off I decided to check the time, 8:30, not the earliest but considering I'm currently on break and just waiting for the academy to start, it was quite early.
After cleaning myself up and putting on some clothes I decided to head downstairs.
"Oh, Kei, you are up?", my mom said after noticing me.
"Mhm", being quite early I didn't have that much energy to speak and just gave a simple nod.
"Do you want to eat nothing?", my mom asked.
Since the market would be opening soon I decided to not eat breakfast and after telling my mother I would be going to the market she decided to give me 500 RP, which was quite a nice bonus.
After leaving the house, I decided to head to the market, as Keith was quite introverted he didn't head out that much so I had to use a GPS to find the market.
After 20 minutes of walking, I finally arrived at the market in district 3, and it was surprisingly good, with many vendors having stalls or either sitting on the ground, it was quite active with many people trying to buy ingredients and more.
After heading inside I saw many items that had caught my attention with my appraisal.

(Description): A small bronze sword that has been used in many battles before but still maintains its sharpness.

(Description): Just a typical dagger used by hunters to skin animals.

These two items caught my attention not because they were amazing but because apart from every other weapon I have seen, these ones were the only ones in good condition.
After walking a bit more I saw a small shop in an alleyway, so I decided to head in that direction.
There was an old man sitting behind the many items, he seemed to be sleeping so I decided to not bother him and just check the items.
I was caught by surprise when I discovered one of the items that he was selling.

(Description): Used underwear for males.

As it seemed that this shop was quite bad I decided to head out until something caught my eye.

[(S-) Glomer's Gloves LVL 1]
(Description): A ancient magician's gloves that grows together with it's owner, as the gloves become stronger so do the magician's stats (Magic and Strength) and it helps the owner control their mana for an easier time using spells.
-(Evolving Item): It grows together with its owner, and allows an increase in stats depending on the LVL of the item. As it grows it also allows the user to have better control of mana, making spells easier to use.
-(Master): It chooses one master and the item cannot be taken off.
-(Visual): The item may become invisible or maintain it's visual depending on its master's wishes

Without thinking twice I decided to buy them at that very moment.
"Hello, old man, wake up"
After about 10 seconds of shaking the old man's body, the old man woke up from his slumber.
"Hmmm, what's up little boy, what can I get for you?", the old man said.
I immediately answered and asked another question, "I want the gloves, how much would they be?"
"those gloves, hmm", while the old man made it seem like he was having a difficult time selling such a glorious item, it was just him trying to scam the young boy of his money, as not even the old man knew the value of such gloves.
"That would be 1000 RP, kid", he said.
While that may be way above my budget, I couldn't just leave without such a godly item so I decided to offer all my money for the gloves.
"I only have 650 RP, do you think you can give me a discount?"
And without even a second passing, the old man instantly said "Deal". Which quite honestly caught me by surprise.
After transferring the money to the old man and then taking my item, I was satisfied and immediately headed home to try them on.
