Demon Realm (1)

Today marks a month since I have arrived at the demon realm and have actually gotten used to the many things in here.

But of course, I'm not exactly free and just live happily as if nothing had happened to me, nonetheless, I do have a simple boring routine I have repeated throughout the whole month.

I wake up in my shabby room, go eat, appraise items, eat again and finally go to sleep.

I didn't know of this, since the creator of this world had never mentioned it, but human necessities are the same for all races in this world.

The demon realm has farms and livestock they eat, of course, they are mostly run by slaves but that is beside the point.

I also have a 3-hour break between appraisals because I told Amadeus I had a three-hour cooldown on my skill.

I didn't want the demons to become too strong tho, so most of the time I will tell them that I can't appraise the item, meaning that one of my appraisals was wasted.

During the breaks, apart from killing some demons now and then, I have also started to look into the slaves.

The slaves are actually not bound by any contract with any demon, this is not because they were able to avoid it but because they were useless.

Demons have standards for appraisals, and many times these slaves are left just to do some groundwork because they seem useless.

Well, all of them would look useless, unless you had a skill that could tell their future overall rank.

Most of these slaves are not soldiers, heroes, or anything like that. For example, the student contractors wouldn't be considered good products, but the mere fact they had joined the academy was enough for them to be contracted.

In the case of slaves, they were mostly civilians or farmers from the Union and the human realm, making them unappealing for contracts.

I had actually found two slaves worth taking, one was an elf with a future rank of (A+) and a giant, which was pretty much an overgrown human with more muscles, with an overall potential rank of (S-).

I had to wait for an opportunity but I already knew it would be arriving soon enough. You see, Amadeus was a generous demon to his contractors and after 1 month of showing him your worth, he would reward you with something you wish for.

The other two picked grimoires with martial arts but I had another idea.

And I didn't have to wait long for the opportunity to appear as later in the afternoon, I was called by Amadeus.

I arrived in front of a huge door with two guards in front of it, they soon opened the door and I walked in, put my hand right hand on my chest, and bowed to Amadeus.

"You have probably heard of why I have called you here, right?", He said while swirling a glass of wine and sitting on a throne with his legs crossed.

"Yes, my lord", I said.

"Then, tell me what you desire, my child"

Exactly, what I had been waiting for.

"If I may, my lord, I would wish to request a small castle and for some...slaves"

"A castle and some slaves? Explain yourself"

"Yes, my lord, I wish for a castle, as I don't wish to continue to live in such a shabby room if I say so myself, while I greatly appreciate the room you have offered me at your beautiful castle, I wish to sleep as someone deserving of being, my lord's contractor"

Amadeus was someone that greatly enjoyed compliments and sweet words, so I had learned to do so, with my knowledge of romance novels.

Amadeus smiled and started to laugh, "HAHAHA, that's why I like smart individuals like you! Now tell me why you wish for some slaves?"

"I wish not to taint, my lord's ears with my needs but I wish to satisfy my...pleasures"

He then let out an intrigues look and soon said, "Then I shall grant your wish, by tomorrow a castle will be prepared for you and you may choose as many slaves as you wish for"

"I thank you, my lord, long live Amadeus, the great duke of the demon realm"

And with that, I left the room. It was better to shower Amadeus with praises to keep myself on his good side as falling into his bad side would only bring me to my death.

The next morning a demon was in front of my room and said he would be guiding me to my castle, which actually wasn't too far from Amadeus's castle, it was only a 30-minute walk away from his.

[Keith's Castle]

The castle was surrounded by walls but it was not near enough the size of Amadeus's castle.

If I had to compare it with anything it would be around the size of a football stadium, which is actually quite big in its own right if this wasn't a world with huge buildings just to show power.

The gate opened and the demon told me it required mana from the owner to open it, and he soon transferred the ownership of this castle to me or at least he pretended to.

[Target of revenge, Amadeus, 30 meters away]

Using my skill, [Revenge], I was able to put a tracker on Amadeus, and always knew when he was following me.

Apparently, Amadeus had an invisibility skill that made him almost like a ghost, that was how he was able to sneak into the human realm and kidnap someone.

Knowing he was near me, I decided to do some lip service just for him.

"Ah, what a beautiful castle, as expected of my lord"

We soon entered the castle and I could see a huge building that had many plots of land around it used for farming.

We then entered through a double door that lead to the inside of the castle. The hall was huge and I could see a big set of stairs that lead to a second floor, it was like one that you would always see in a rich mansion, in which a huge set of stairs in a semi-circle would then lead to two other sets of stairs to go up to two different sides of a second floor.

There were two hallways in the first-floor hall and the demon next to me said that one led to the dining room that was connected to the kitchen and that the other one would lead me to a basement where I would find a prison.

He then guided me to the second floor, and we first went to the right side, which had a bathroom, an office, and a bedroom.

The left side had an alchemy laboratory, a library with books about herbs, and finally a room with many cages.

The demon then explained that the previous owner of this castle was a demon that liked to make potions and then test them on small animals.

I didn't care but I had to make myself look like an evil person since Amadeus was close.

I laughed like a psychopath and soon said, "Since my lord has allowed me to take as many slaves as I wish for, maybe I should give some experimentations a try, don't you think?"

I asked the demon to which he only nodded.

We then headed to the back of the castle and there were two big houses in the back, they both had 30 rooms and multiple bathrooms and utilities.

The demon explained that one was used by the soldiers and the other one was used by the servants.

After the tour was over he told me he would guide me to the slave's area, which was pretty much the farms and allow me to choose some slaves.

[Farming Zone, Demon Realm]

We arrived soon enough and I pretended to look around for slaves.

I could see many looking at me with fearful eyes, but I just looked down on them.

It was not long until I spotted an elf with silver hair, she had a small body but still seemed to be fine and healthy which was understandable considering that they were the demons' main source of food and also products to be sold.

They were all virgins and kept in the best condition possible, for a slave, so they could be sold to high-ranked demons for, of course, pleasure.

While being able to escape slavery might seem like something good, it was actually horrible for the slaves to be picked by the demons.

I raised my hand and pointed at the elf, she was named [Farir Lotus], she soon noticed my hand and her face turned into despair, and for some reason, I started to smile.

It was probably the demonic energy inside my body.

A demon soon arrived with a carriage and picked her up and put her inside of it. I continued to walk and encountered an overgrown human named, [Kasmor Trams], he was a muscular, tall, and kind of handsome human or giant as he was 3 meters tall.

I picked him up as well and continued to look around the slave center. I picked around 10 more slaves, 4 female and 6 males, that had a potential rank of at least B+.

They were all inside of a carriage and without having to say anything to them, they let me go.

[Keith's Castle]

We soon arrived at the castle and I guided them to the back, where the two houses were located.

After arriving I stared at everyone and began to speak.

"The male slaves will live in that house to the left, it has a sign that has a sword in it, and that will be the place you will stay in, understood?", I said in an intimidating voice.

They all nodded to my question.

I then stared at the girls and said, "You all now belong to me, you will live in this house to the right and if I call you to my room, you will respond, understood?

They all seem to have despair on their faces but I didn't care.

"From this day forward, all the male slaves will work on the field in the front and the female slaves will be in charge of serving me, inside of the castle. If any of you pigs touch one of my slaves, you are all dead, I will make that clear", I said while staring at them with my black-colored eyes with a red pupil.

I then pointed at Farir and Kasmor, and told them to follow me to my room.

After arriving at my room, I made both of them sit down on their knees on the floor.

I glared at Farir and said, "Undress yourself now woman"

Farir didn't do anything as if she seemed to be frozen in place.

I raised my hand and...

*Slap

"I said to undress, you little long-eared animal", I said while staring at her with my demonic eyes
