Epilogue

My name is Queen Nova Black. I'm the appointed clan leader of the Heavenly Dragons Clan. We guard the Heavens. Making sure all the souls going there make it. The council of dragons have selected my mate because I refuse to choose someone other than Jade as a mate. She's the love of my life. She is beautiful, energetic, and full of life. The council wants me to marry a man. My wedding is in 4 days. Even though my mate is a girl. Her name is Princess Jade Green. She is a black Onyx Dragon. Onyx Dragons are the death dragons. They watch over the underworld. Making sure stuff stays in and the rest can go in. Once you go in. There's no coming back. Not even Lucifer can help you get back. Mine and Jades future was destined to fail because we are both female. That's a bad thing because dragons are going extinct. No female couples, no male couples anymore. It's again the law. A mistress can be involved if the companion does not care, in hopes of more dragons.

"Baby, there you are. Are you ready" Jade is ever so excited. Her long blonde hair is long and curly. She has it in a messy bun with a black scrunchy. Today she's wearing a black leather jacket, black tank top, black leather jeans, and black knee high boots.

"Yes, let's go." I say smiling. I'm wearing the same thing, only my leather jacket is red. And my long hair is brown and straight in a messy bun.

We are headed to the temple bar. We stop there every Friday night. Just Friday nights though, and we only stay for a few hours, because the men flirt too much. Dragons after the age of 18 are never virgins anymore. Our hormones kick into overdrive. It's bad. I've walked in on orgies by accident. Not fun by the way. Dragons are very sensitive creatures. We can see and hear up to 40 miles away if we choose. Yes we have a zooming mechanism in our eyes and ears. So being in a bar full of other men and women while drinking is not a good idea. I've had to drag my mate away from it sometimes because she gets stuck in the lust. It doesn't take much for us dragons. Dragons go into heat every three months. Doesn't that sound marvelous? We head out the door. We shift into our dragons, and fly off. We were racing by now. Jade always challenges me. That's why I love her so dearly. Oh, another amazing thing about dragons, we don't lose our clothes when we shift. It's more of a morph. Jade acted like she was going to win. I love this game we play together. She swirls towards me and nipps my hind leg. I start kicking at her to get her to stop. She does it again. So I spin around and grab her. I flew us straight into the air to the clouds. I quit flying and our dragons started to mate. When we both have climaxed. We are almost at the ground, we separated and landed in our human bodies. We are just outside of the bar in a dark alleyway.

I lean over to kiss Jade on the lips. "I love you Jade." I told her. Heading to the front door of the bar. Both of us walked slowly hand in hand. A big grin playing at Jade's face. Jade has dark blueish grey eyes, and she's curvy in the best of places. We walk into the bar and head straight for the counter. We always buy our first bottle. Men pay for the rest of them that we drink. We sit at the bar until we get our drinks, then we move on to a table in the back. This bar has nothing but dragons in it. Draco starts following us to the table we are headed to. I roll my eyes.

Draco Pierce, My fiancé, gave a menacing look at Jade. "Get lost" He said.

I growled and slapped him across the face I then pointed at him, right in his stupid face and said. "If you ever disrespect my mate again I'll rip your face off."

"Our wedding is in 4 days and you still won't stop embarrassing me." He said menacingly. Draco, all 7 feet of him, towers over me. Blonde hair green eyed. I Think he's cute. He's arrogant.

I roll my eyes at him dramatically. "And you still don't scare me. You forget. I'm still Queen with no King, I can still put you in your place. She is my guest in my clan. You are a menace." I growl. I hate him. And to think I have to marry him.

He grabbed me by my hair and snatched me against him. "Your coming with me. We are leaving." He said throwing me over his shoulder, turned and started walking off. I start kicking and screaming. Everybody points, gasps, and moves out the way. My elbow connected to the side of his head, and my knee connected with his stomach, and he decided to set me down when he bent over. I kneed him in the nose. He dropped to the floor, I straddled him and started wailing on him, punching him in the face over and over. He has a bloody nose and a black eye and several bruises. Fuck him.

"I only have 4 days left with her. Leave us alone." I pleaded with him.

"You can't be mates with her, and still be for the better of the clan." He said. With a smirk.

"I have 4 more days before I am forced to marry you." I don't like this egoistic bastard. I hate him. "It's not going to kill you."

I stood up straight. And walked away. I went back to my sweet Jade. "I'm so sorry Jade." I say slowly getting into my seat across from her. She's crying.

"Why can't we just be together? It makes no sense. Why did you listen to them?" She has started yelling. "We could have ran away together."

"I'm so sorry Jade." I told her. Mournfully.

"That is the emptiest apology you've ever given me. I don't need that I need my mate." She says. She's right too, and I need mine. I notice someone staring at me from behind Jade. He's tall, very muscular and has tattoos everywhere, and a nose ring. The sides of his head are shaved with longer brown hair on the top. About 3 to 5 inches long. Very sexy.

"If I tell you to run. You will run right?" I asked her. Hoping she will. See him get up and start to walk over.

She didn't answer, instead she turned, and saw him just as he reached our table. "Excuse me lady's..." He smells like fat lighter and fresh cut grass. It smells so arousing, so intoxicating, his smell has turned both of us on. His eyes are a hazel color.

I stopped him right there. "I don't care, we don't want anything."

He took the chair beside me, and faced it away from us so that the backrest of the chair faced me, then sat down in it backwards.

He looked me straight in my eyes. I did my best eye roll, looked at Jade. I don't know what to do. I give her a pained look.

"I don't want you to take this the wrong way, but I just want to hang out with my mate. I only have..." the moment our eyes met it was like meeting Jade for the first time again. I know he's my mate too. I know in that instant, but he will be off limits too because he's no dragon.

My mouth parts slightly. I let out a breath. He leans in and asks, "you already have a mate?"

"Y-yes." I stutter. "Her name is Jade." I extend my hand towards her.

He looks at her and gets stuck too. She knows what she sees just like I did. He's our mate.

"Who are you?" Jade asked.

"Alpha Jacob Steele." He said looking back at me. Looking into my eyes. "I'm the Alpha of the Blood Pack." He licked his lips "if y'all don't mind I'd love to hang out for a bit."

Jade spoke up breathless. "Please hang out with us."

I smile. "Yea, join please."

He smiles back. I'm completely mesmerized by him. He's handsome. I never knew tattoos were a turn on for me until now. His scent is so tempting to me. I need.... I need another drink. I excused myself and went to the bar, and got 12 shots and brought them back. At this point I don't care who pays the tab. As long as

he goes home with us. I'm going to be having three some before the night is over. That I know, and I'm ready, are they?
