chapter 17 (side chapter)

on earth there was a case of many students found dead, however out of the 30 classmates only 14 bodies were found.

the police were investigating this and deemed it a serial killer. their bodies looked the same, disfigured and it looked like they were tortured.

the community came together to pay respects to the students. parents were huddled together wondering why this happened to the children.

Athena's mom was one of those people, worrying about her daughter, unknown that she was already married.

the police had no idea where to start, or even where to begin. the fingerprints didn't match anyone, and the weapons used couldn't be found.

Athena's father couldn't give a damn, and he told the news too. "if only I had a son" was what he said.

when somebody named Nasha heard this, she cursed him so his luck will head downhill.

I see she finally has somebody she's interested in. Athena lux, huh?

I don't see why she would be much interested in this mortal girl. well, it's none of my business, my only job is to make sure everything goes according to plan.

that mortal will have such an Interesting future though, whether she fulfills it, is up to her.

I had just created three milky Ways full of different planets and I wanted to know why SHE was different.

how could a mortal see her, when nothing in all of creation could except for haemir? not even the billions of other versions of her could see me.

there were billions of alternative universes, however, this was the one that connected them all, or rather the first timeline.

did I check those timelines? yes. did any see me? no, they didn't.

so why did she. was it because she was a kid? no, because even when she was 16 she looked at me, or rather she sensed me and always glanced at me.

little did she know that her existence was unique, and the reason why she was different was that she was lacking her earliest memories.
