Chapter 28

When i saw done Kevin was already waiting for me outside the bathroom. We went out of the room into the garden for some peace. After waling the most of the morning we went inside to get some lunch. After lunch we went ot the stabels and got the horses ready for a ride. After checking that everthing is in the place we got on our horses and we rode to the city. When we arrived the people were smiling and waved at us. I waved back to them while Kevin just smirked. After awhile we stopped at a lake in our kingdom. He jumped off his horse and grabbed my hands and helped me get off as well. I walked towards the water with him and he let go of my hands. 'You want to swim my love?' He asked. 'Yes, i guess i will.' I replied looking at him. 'Then i am going to be right behind you.' He said. We took our clothes off, all was left is my bra and underwear. He was in boxers. We went deeper into the lake. The water was nice, not to cold. When we got in a comfortable place we sat down, not far from shore. He put me on his lap and hugged me tight. 'Its so nice here.' I said. 'It truly is...' He said kissing my head softly, i smiled and leaned against him. He wrapped his arms around me and we sat there enjoying. After some time it strated to rain we got out of the water and put our clothes on and got on our horses and rode them back to the castle. We let them run freely the way back. It was nice but bit cold. I looked over to Kevin and he is enjoying this very much. It made me smile seeing him this happy. We arrived at the stabels right when the rain got heavy. We ran to our castle and got greeted with maids that were holding towels for us. We thanked them and went to our bedroom drying ourselves. We were about to walk in our bedroom but we got stopped by our assistant. 'Your majesties! We have guests! Please get ready they are waiting in the throne room.' She said. 'Get them some tea or coffee with some sweets.' Kevin said the assistant nodded and went away. We went to our bedroom and changed into dry royal clothes before walking to the throne room. We went to our thrones and sat down. 'Sorry for the delay. We didnt know that you two were coming.' I said. The king and queen from the diffrent kingdom just nodded softly. 'So how can we help you two today?' Kevin asked them.

The queen started talking to him while the king listened intently. 'My lord, the kingdom of the neighboring kingdom has sent their army to attack us for no good reason. Our forces are almost exhausted and they are planning on taking over our country for themselves.' The queen told him. He sighed. 'Okay then.. Lets prepare for war.' Kevin said. 'What should we prepare for?' Kevin asked. 'Everything! Our armies, weapons, armour. Everything is prepared.' The King replied. 'What about a defence plan? Can't we come up with something?' I asked. 'No we cannot, we do not have anything that could defend us. You may not believe this but they are stronger than us and we dont have many strong people left to protect us.' The queen told me. 'But what should we do then? Are we not supposed to have our own defence plans? How will we fight them without them.' I said worried. I looked at Kevin with a very worried expression. He placed his hand on my shoulder and smiled softly. 'We have to make a plan. They dont know that you asked us for help. Well i hope that they dont know that. We will have to move our people to the safe place and secure every entery to our kingdom.' Said Kevin.
