Chapter 1: The wake of war
The name of the man carrying the babies name is Asumaz, a top level Titan Spirit Guard of the clan. His powerful physique and spirit was amongst the best of the Guard.
He soared through the Horizon, leaving a faint wisp of spatial energy in his wake as he flew. The young boys he carried felt none of the wind that could cut through steel as they were incased in 6 arms by Asumaz. His honed abilities in both offensive and defensive attacks and protection were no small matter. They floated in his arms like calm water on a stable table. Comfortable and content, thankfully, as he noticed they were not the crying type.
After just over a day's time of straight flight towards the south continent of the world, thousands of miles had been crossed. The speed at which he flew was second only to the mighty people of the top existences of this world. A world with no name, one that only the heavens knew.
Many cultures would call this world by different names, because of the world being just over a million miles in circumference, most people knew not of what was outside of the villages sometimes thousands of miles in diameter, would you explore the world when your town was so big already?
Or rather, for those with an abundance of space to move around and to survive in why travel such long distances to foreign places?
Let alone the Mega cities the largest cities on each of the north or south continent, the north city, being ten thousand miles in circumference was a place so large that if a normal mortal were to try and walk it. They may die before ever even seeing a 10th of it.
Asumaz looked down to the vast ocean and finally the southern continent with cliffs to the ocean miles high above sea level.
A small speck of light in the distance shone like a star as night begun to fall. Slowing his descent he climbed down from the stratosphere.
He gazed upon the vast forest in front of him, hundreds if not 1000's of foot high trees dotting the border of his vision for 1000's of miles from right to left. He took a step forward, each 2 of 6 arms held an infant, and divided into 3 people again.
This was the unique spirit trait of Asumaz, the 6 armed titan, when used triplets of this spirit type can combine into a 6 armed titan with 6 times the power of one individuals power. Each was named Asu, Ma and Z. Combining into the name Asumaz: A word in this world meaning of one mind. The three brothers got out sacks and cut them into an over the shoulder hammock for the babies to lay within before setting off into the forest.
They may be powerful, but the law of this forest was as set as stone. No flying over it. That was the law of the clan of this place, they had the power to back up such a decree, being one that's been around for centuries and centuries.
Asu lead the trio as he was the first born amongst them which naturally set a leadership role even if mere seconds could be disregarded. They were each about 30 years old, with how fast they cultivated they would be considered geniuses in the clans outside the island of the far west.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ma used a crystal device given to him by one of the lords to send out a frequency signal, alerting the person they were meeting. An ambassador of the clan, as well as a close confidant and friend of one of the 3 almighty lords, to meet them here at a planned location in the forest.
A whisp of smoked was being carried in the wind without dissipating what's so ever. As the trio saw this small black cloud, they sped up until they reached a clearing. The smoke carried forth as if defying gravity until 30 feet in front of them it coagulated and the dispersed smoked condensed until it became a man.
This was the contact.
Ma and Z stepped forward, until they aligned with Asu. '' Those that are chosen, heaven they fight" each called in unison.
A hoarse voice came from the old man now formed in front of them "And those that fight heaven, are those that are chosen"
Instantly the sadness they fought for the last hours of flight swelled in side of them and tears rolled down the faces of their almost stone cut faces. Although their complexions did not change, their eyes and spirit showed the underlying sadness contained within. The old man was no better off. He was an Elder of the forest clan here, a great mentor and friend of one of their Lords.
He lost a family and the blood within him was still in turmoil to that fact. He had three sons on their mystic island known as Spectrum. A law of the three western clans was to have no outside influence or immigration. Not out of hostility, but out of safety.
Still then, his Lord friend had allowed the three sons to become honor guard and grow on that island after the old man saved him to show his love to him as a mentor amongst his travels.
This man was Yuki's, one of the three babies, father Yuni Figura who was the greatest plant manipulator known to the world with the spirit of a god level beast within him. The old man and his clan worshiped this very creature.
Although they were a mighty clan themselves they still had an underlying service to a greater clan above them. They even revered the clan and would die without any hesitation if they needed to. The old man looked at the 3 boys in front of him, gesturing with his hands for them to step forward towards him.
As Asu, Ma, and Z did they felt a barrier open in front of them, the Wark trees around them dispersed, and their eyes gazed upon flowing trees with thousands of petals falling through the air. An illusion barrier was erected by the clan to hide the different vegetation from the sky and forest. If someone were to walk through it they would only see the same trees and places repeat until they reached the other side a 100,000 miles away.
Even the erected roads leading through it purposefully worked a route that went around all these places by thousands of miles just to make sure travelers didn't accidentally move through such places.
The old man looked down touching each of their heads and looking at the profound calligraphy of blood written on each of their heads, each with a different energy and display of skill. He suddenly floated up and sat upon air level with them, letting each brother come forward as he moved his hands in mirages to gather the blood on each head before sending it between each of the babies brows, disappearing under their skin.
He looked at each brother and thought of his own sons. He was tempted but already knew the answer if he were to ask how they were. They would soon die in battle to delay whatever was attacking the west island. A power far beyond the old man's view of even the distant horizon.
The old man flicked his long sleeves and 3 wisps of smoke flew out and formed into smoke men that condensed until little bodies formed. They had no facial features and slim bodies that looked like cut carbon or shiny stone. They 'looked' up at the old men who pointed to the three young boys, the carbon copies lifted their arms and gently held the babies in their arms. In contrast to the brothers they weren't even their calf in length. The three brothers laughed at this and then looked at the old man.
Asu stepped forward "It's up to you now to take care of them, were only messengers and now we must go back to being Warriors. Don't let them come to harm, or we swear our spirits will haunt this forest until it's extinction."
The old man felt the power in their words, the words reverberating like the ripples to a tub in his ears before finally calming. He knew exactly how loyal and dedicated to the clan they were just by the determination in their voices. Iron clad. He nodded, for words would hold no meaning and action was what they understood best. They each nodded back. Before turning and walking into each other creating that towering 6 armed and barrel legged being again.
They were the last of the 6 armed titan spirit types of this world. They, from their clan in the north before its destruction, were saved by one the lords they currently served under.
Their father the leader of their clan won against someone in the north in a death battle.
Breaking the rules, the opposing clan went to their clan and slaughtered almost all of them.
This mighty lord reaped the rules they broke and killed them all leaving not even the children, women or elderly from the rule breaking clans family alive. Their father asked for a favor to save his sons, he would give his life for this favor. However, from the moment the opposing clan came on the offensive he was already wounded after such a large fight.
To get a favor he would have to beat this mighty lord in battle, he ultimately lost and payed with his life. Before he died, the lord said he would do the favor as he had indeed payed with his life. The man smiled as he realized the man would've done it if he had died or won anyway. This meant he was giving him face, as well as the ultimate condition to protect them with the lords own life. The man died with a smile, his 3 8 year old sons only 10 feet way. After they buried him, they left and under the lords tutelage learned to be the greatest of fighters.
This was just some small story that led Asu, Ma, and Z into the mighty clan. Now, they were saving that lords son in return.
They kicked and flew through the illusion gate as it closed. Soaring into the sky like a 6 armed god of war. Readying their spirit and energy to clash with what came before them whether it be heavenly thunder or the black flame of hell. Without the children in their arms this time, they could fly at full force. Space warped as they broke multiple sound barriers and flew into the horizon.
The old man gazed into the distance, a wave of spatial movement in the distant horizon disappeared as the sky lit with a brilliant Sunrise that eclipsed all shadow.
The swaying of the tree's near him, the falling of pink, red, and white petals should create one of the most beautiful scenes in his eyes. However, the tears and sadness he felt shunted this scene and its beauty from his mind.
The three carbon copies looked up to him and down at the small organisms in their arms several times before he turned around to them. The tears wiped away, a small grin on his lips, laughing eyes with wisdom shining with determination like the brave brothers that left.
The carbon copies each tilted their heads in confusion. The old man laughed before striding forward in a leisurely manner, a pipe had formed in his hand from smoke. He did feel sad, but he was a trustee to a friend fighting a World war the World doesn't even know of, but he sure did.
Each leisurely step sent him 20 feet across the earth until he disappeared between the trees through the forest.
