---Betrayed

Jackson tried to ask what's wrong with me, why am I running away from the party. What happened but I won't budge and I won't tell him what's wrong, how am I supposed to tell him my supposed friend tried to rape me.

When we got home I take off my shoes and tiptoe toward my room, at least fate wasn't cruel enough to wake my grandpa.

When I was little I used to cry, I cried when grandpa hit me, when people called me bastard, when my mommy didn't come to get me. Last time I cried was when I was ten, I asked my grandpa about mommy again, he said she came to his doorstep she had a baby with her. The baby was only 3 days old, she was sick and homeless she asked him for mercy, he kicked her out with the baby. Three nights later she died from pneumonia, he took me in only cause people knew who she was and knew I was hers.
