The Monstrous King and his sweet Evil Queen

In the mysterious realm of Kalvon, where shadows whispered tales of Kings and Queens, none were as infamous as King Jetaime. Whispers echoed through the cobblestone corridors and darkened chambers of the palace, painting a macabre portrait of a heartless sovereign scarred by the cruelty of fate. His legs, so the tales spun, were lifeless appendages, and his face, a grotesque canvas of boils. His was a visage that struck terror into the hearts of those who dared imagine it. Yet, destiny took an unforeseen turn on the eve of a grand wedding night. Princess Jaelyn, cursed and hidden away within the confines of Malavon Castle, was the unwilling pawn in a malevolent game of power. Her name, synonymous with evil, and her every step marked by the devil's touch. However, as she stepped into the grand hall to meet her monstrous groom, a man emerged before her, shattering the grotesque image painted by gossip. King Jetaime stood not as the rumored monster, but as a vision of unexpected sweetness, love, and undeniable handsomeness. The discrepancy between the tales and the reality sparked a whispered question in the minds of those who witnessed this surreal union — had she unwittingly married an imposter, or were the rumors nothing more than twisted fragments of a darker imagination? As King Jetaime and Princess Jaelyn embarked on their tumultuous journey, the chessboard of power and revenge unfolded. Locked in a dance of secrets and hidden motives, the two found themselves entangled in a love that defied the expectations set by the world. The King, who had never allowed anyone close, now placed his heart willingly in her hands. Princess Jaelyn, driven by the flames of vengeance, found an unexpected ally in the man she was supposed to despise. Together, they navigated the treacherous waters of courtly politics, facing a power struggle fueled by conspiracies that threatened to tear them apart. In the battle between love and destiny, the question lingered like an ethereal mist — was their connection a mere human maneuver or a divinely fated love? As the story unfolded, the narrative wove a tapestry of twists and turns, challenging the very essence of their existence. Could love truly conquer all things, or were some cases destined to be eternally hopeless? Two empty hearts, two lives devoid of love, collided in a dance of darkness and light. A monster king and an evil queen united to become one, their journey unfurling like a forbidden scroll. The world watched with bated breath as the saga unfolded — a tale of love, betrayal, and the relentless pursuit of a destiny that defied the predetermined life. Cover by Java graphics.

Sacrificial lamb

A young beautiful princess dressed in a black dress standing in front of a statue dressed in a royal robe. She holds a small knife in her hand pointing at the statue, her pretty eyes were dim but she confidently stabs the statue with all her strength.

"I hate you. You are evil. What kind of father are you huh? I will strangle you to death." The young princess drops the knife and holds the neck of the statue pressing it hard.

"I will burn the entire castle. The castle you love so much. You know what I will do next?" She asked the statue in front of her as she steps back and her eyes followed the length of the statue.

"I will patiently peel off your skin and...and take out your heart, well I will like to see if you have a heart and if you do. I'm going take it out, cook it, and have it for dinner over a nice wine." Her sweet evil voice echoed in the room. To the young princess, it was the perfect way to get back at her father. She was pleased with the thought.

"Don't look at me like that. What if I'm evil? Hell yes, I am. And I'm not done yet, I will cut off your head and feed it to the vultures. You ..." the princess place her hand on the statue trying to rip its head off when she heard voices and footsteps approaching her room. She quickly hides the statue.

"Who were you talking to little sister?" the fairest and prettiest princess of Malavon asked surprised when she heard voices coming from her room. Even the goddess is envious of her beauty.

"To what do I owe this, honor, Princess Oaklyn?" The smile on the young princess's face faltered when she saw her sister Princess Oaklyn.

"Jaelyn I clearly heard you talking to someone and besides you are my sister. I came to see you like always, how are you doing?" Oaklyn mumbled gently as she takes steps closer to her sister.

Her long hair nicely comb behind her adore in the finest piece of jewelry.

Her white gown covering her long legs and hands make her look like a fairy. "Well, you have seen me, get going now before your father creates another facade." Jaelyn sarcastically said turning her face to the wall and staring at something that looks like a painting but awfully ugly and scary for that matter.

"Stop Jaelyn, he is your father too and why do you keep such ugly paintings? It's really scary," Oaklyn is sweet and gentle well that is what she appears to be and she is scared of anything black but unfortunately, that's her twin sister's favorite color.

"Why are you here for real Oaklyn? You look nervous. Since when has the princess of Malavon become nervous to speak?" Jaelyn whispered.

"I know Jaelyn, you must hate me. Believe me, I try to stop our father, from treating you badly but he never listens to me when it comes to you. You know how easily I get scared, believe me, I can't marry King Jetaime, I will die even before becoming his queen," Oaklyn weeps.

"Why are you telling me this? Tell your darling father, I'm sure he will do something about it," Jaelyn said unconcerned and still hasn't processed what her sister is asking of her.

"Father cannot reject this marriage, king Jetaime has captured the rest of the kingdoms if we refuse he will raise war against us. This marriage is to bring peace between the two kingdoms," Oaklyn explains the situation even further.

"Meaning?" Jaelyn asked with a question mark on her face. She still doesn't get it, she strode to her bed and then turn to look at her sister who was fidgeting with her fingers.

"Meaning you will take your sister's place and marry King Jetaime to save our kingdom from going to war," their father, King Acer of Malavon kingdom said from behind, making his way into the room. They both turn in the direction of the voice.

"Ha-ha..ha-ha... me ...the wife ...of who? And why will I do that Acer?" Jaelyn asked boldly holding her waist with her two hands confidently and raising an eyebrow.

"You this evil child! Did you just call me by my name? You ungrateful brat, you should thank your stars I haven't killed you yet," he said angrily.

"We both know you can't kill me, it will mean killing your precious princess," Jaelyn grumbled.

"You...you!" King Acer mumbled raising his hand and out of words after all what she said is true. The only thing keeping her alive is that the two princesses share the same pain.

"Stop it Jaelyn! Please don't talk to our father like that," Oaklyn hissed. Oaklyn is not ready to spend the rest of her life with a monster but her sister isn't at all afraid of monsters. She needed to put on an act in order for Jaelyn to accept her request and marry the king in her place.

"He is not my father, now take him with you he is making my blood boil," Jaelyn angrily said.

"You ungrateful brat you don't even know how to talk to your father! You will marry kingJetaime, you two will make a perfect couple at least your sister will benefit from me keeping you alive," he said.

"You are not my father!" Jaelyn yells.

"Save me Jaelyn. I will die even by looking at his ugly face full of boils. Please save me, sister. I promise I will do anything you ask of me. Just say yes to this alliance I beg of you, just this once," Oaklyn cries looking pitiful and fragile, even though Jaelyn could understand the pain of her sister and sincerely wish she could help her it still didn't stop her from wondering if her family is pushing her to die because she meant nothing to them at all.

"You want me to be the sacrificial lamb huh? Alright, I will do it, at least I can convince Jaime or Jetaime to give me your father's head as my wedding gift," Jaelyn said brushing her hair back and staring at her father.

"Silly! Ungrateful brat!" King Acer sighs walking out of the room angrily.

"Thank you so much sister, thank you for saving me. I will never forget this ever," Oaklyn was grateful, one of her biggest fear was lifted off her shoulders.

"Alright just stop it and go away. At least I will be able to pay you back for the times you stick out for me and prevented the evil man to starve me to death," Jaelyn whispered trying not to sound sad or remember her painful past.

"Thank you for doing this, I wish there was more I could have done for you," Oaklyn mumbled as she holds her sister's hand and smiles gently. "But you really won't let King Jetaime kill our father right?" Oaklyn asked curiously, she knows Jaelyn has every reason to hate their father but to have him killed, she wonders if she will really do that.

"For your sake, I can't let him die that easily, he needs to suffer, it was a joke. You should live well and I will be happy sacrificing myself," Jaelyn smiles, and her sister smiles back.

"Well I will get going now," Oaklyn grins holding her sister's hand and then walks out gracefully as her many maids follow her. Once she was out of the room, she wipes her crocodile tears and smirked. "That was easy, I thought she will put up a tantrum," Oaklyn thought, she has been playing this emotional trick on her all their lives.

"I don't understand my lady," her handmaiden asked confused. "Nothing, let's go back to my chamber," she replied walking away as they run to catch up with her, now that the marriage issue is settled she can now relax.

"My lady, don't tell me you are going to accept to be King Jetaime's queen? This is not fair my lady, even if the king hates you he can't let you marry that cruel and heartless monster," Moesha whispered angrily as if she had the power to do something about it.

Moesha is Princess Jaelyn's handmaiden. It has just been the two of them in the old palace after her grandmother the queen's mother passed away. If not for her she will be bored to death.

She is also the only one that respects her and she will confidently say she is the only person in this cruel world that loves her. She turned to look at the princess before continuing "Can you not marry him?"

"You know I can't refuse Moesha, it will only take a royal decree to make my life more miserable. And besides, if that king is as ruthless and cruel as the rumors say he is I can't let Oaklyn suffer by his side," Jaelyn reply her with a gentle look in her eyes and a soft smile.

"But it's okay for you to suffer my princess? Haven't you suffered enough?" replied Moesha.
