The Monstrous King and his sweet Evil Queen

In the mysterious realm of Kalvon, where shadows whispered tales of Kings and Queens, none were as infamous as King Jetaime. Whispers echoed through the cobblestone corridors and darkened chambers of the palace, painting a macabre portrait of a heartless sovereign scarred by the cruelty of fate. His legs, so the tales spun, were lifeless appendages, and his face, a grotesque canvas of boils. His was a visage that struck terror into the hearts of those who dared imagine it. Yet, destiny took an unforeseen turn on the eve of a grand wedding night. Princess Jaelyn, cursed and hidden away within the confines of Malavon Castle, was the unwilling pawn in a malevolent game of power. Her name, synonymous with evil, and her every step marked by the devil's touch. However, as she stepped into the grand hall to meet her monstrous groom, a man emerged before her, shattering the grotesque image painted by gossip. King Jetaime stood not as the rumored monster, but as a vision of unexpected sweetness, love, and undeniable handsomeness. The discrepancy between the tales and the reality sparked a whispered question in the minds of those who witnessed this surreal union — had she unwittingly married an imposter, or were the rumors nothing more than twisted fragments of a darker imagination? As King Jetaime and Princess Jaelyn embarked on their tumultuous journey, the chessboard of power and revenge unfolded. Locked in a dance of secrets and hidden motives, the two found themselves entangled in a love that defied the expectations set by the world. The King, who had never allowed anyone close, now placed his heart willingly in her hands. Princess Jaelyn, driven by the flames of vengeance, found an unexpected ally in the man she was supposed to despise. Together, they navigated the treacherous waters of courtly politics, facing a power struggle fueled by conspiracies that threatened to tear them apart. In the battle between love and destiny, the question lingered like an ethereal mist — was their connection a mere human maneuver or a divinely fated love? As the story unfolded, the narrative wove a tapestry of twists and turns, challenging the very essence of their existence. Could love truly conquer all things, or were some cases destined to be eternally hopeless? Two empty hearts, two lives devoid of love, collided in a dance of darkness and light. A monster king and an evil queen united to become one, their journey unfurling like a forbidden scroll. The world watched with bated breath as the saga unfolded — a tale of love, betrayal, and the relentless pursuit of a destiny that defied the predetermined life. Cover by Java graphics.

I'm not angry

Jetaime didn't stop hitting the men even when they were too weak to move. The little groan in pain was still not enough. When he felt it was no longer fun, he start to question them. They were just some low-lives who thought of capturing a beautiful girl to have fun with.

The thought of them doing such an awful thing on a holy day made him even angrier than he was before. He set fire to the hut with the two men in it as they scream for help. He watches as everything burns down completely.

That still didn't satisfy him. They dare to touch his queen. What if he had come late and they actually got their way with the queen? He thought, that even made him wish he can bring them back to life and watch them burn to death all over again.

He couldn't get the thought of them touching the queen out of his head, it was making him go mad. His guards stood there and watched the King agonizing, watching the scene that is already burnt down and nothing left to see.

His mind flinch back to when he first knocked on the door, he remembered how Lyn bit his hand. He suddenly thought of how Lyn was doing and rush back to the palace. Lyn was sneaking back into the palace, she was a mess, and Byron didn't want to raise any rumors in the palace.

Lyn was taken to her bed chamber, where she went straight to take a bath, and she spent several hours in the bath. Only Moesha could understand what the queen was going through because she was there with her. She felt guilty for sneaking the queen out without the guards and more guilty for not being able to protect the queen.

"What happened to the queen?" Madam Yina muttered, looking at Moesha who has been mute since they got back.

"We got lost in the crowd," Moesha mumbled without explaining any further. "You should go change yourself, I will stay with the queen," Madam Yina said, tapping Moesha's shoulders. She was terrified, her eyes were filled with tears threatening to fall. She couldn't cry, she can't cry, she has to be strong for the queen.

"I need to be here in case my lady needs me," Moesha mumbled. "I'm here, I will take care of the queen. You need to change your clothes and dress your wounds," Madam Yina hissed pointing at the wound on Moesha's hand. Moesha follows her gaze and stares at the small cut on her arm and chuckled, "This is nothing," nothing was going to change her mind.

"You still can't wait on the queen looking like this, we are all worried about the queen just like you are. Besides she was with you the whole time but still got lost unless that wasn't what really happen," Pana rolled her eyes making Moesha angry, "Say that again?" Moesha grumbles facing Pana's direction angrily.

"Enough, Moesha go change your clothes and that's an order," Madam Yina said in an authoritative voice, Moesha had no other choice than to leave not after giving Pana a deadly glare that said don't mess with me.

Lyn felt she needed to clean herself a little longer. After using all the fragrances in the bathhouse, she still felt the smell of the men on her. After trying for so long, she decided to come out from the bathhouse.

She wipes herself clean and finds clean undergarments and a robe to wear. She didn't allow anyone inside the bathhouse, not even Moesha.

Lyn drew out a breath trotting with uneven steps out of the bathroom, as soon as she opens the door, Lyn slumped down at the side of the door and hugged her knees to bury her head. Jetaime walks into the room. His heart sinks, looking at her. Those bastards did this to her. He thought, folding his fist and then releasing them. They deserved what they got. He thought.

"A-Are you alright?" Jetaime hissed as he crouched next to Lyn, appearing from nowhere, and sat nearer to her.

Lyn looked up and nodded without a word. To be correct, she didn't know what to say. It was her fault all of this happened if only she didn't try to escape. One thing was clear, though: she could never escape the king.

The manner in which he found her made Lyn wonder if he was mad at her. If he tries to punish her again for trying to see the town on her own. So yes, her state at the moment was far from alright.

"They didn't hurt you, right? Would you like to see a doctor?" Jetaime spoke gently, not wanting to frighten Lyn. She already looked very scared at the moment.

"No, no, he didn't get me. You got there right in time," Lyn hissed, coughing a few times, and her throat still felt dry. It must be the candies or there was something inside. Her head still feels dizzy.

"You don't look okay," Jetaime was concerned. "My throat is very dry. It hurts," Lyn said, rubbing her neck where she could feel it hurt.

"Let me get you some water," Jetaime said quickly, looking for the water jag. He found it and poured her a glass. Lyn gulped down the glass of water but still didn't feel any better.

"Does it still hurt?" Jetaime asked as Lyn nodded her head. "This won't do." Jetaime hissed, looking for a robe for Lyn, one which is not see-through. He found one and covers Lyn with it.

"I'm sorry, I just wanted to see the town, I wasn't escaping," Lyn whispered when Jetaime leaned over and carried her into his arms, and storm out of the queen's bedchamber

"I was tired of being inside the palace all the time and being changed three times a day like a doll with nowhere to go," Lyn mumbled.

"Shh, is your throat not hurting?" Jetaime hushed. Lyn was now quiet as she leaned her head on Jetaime's chest gently. Jetaime smiled when he felt her head on his chest.

"Your Highness, my queen," Jetaime frowned when he heard the voice. Lady Asa, the prime minister's daughter, was already released from the Kagon.

"What are you doing in the main palace?" Jetaime questioned still carefully carrying the queen in his arms. Lyn tried to get down, but he nudge her to stay still.

"As your slave your Highness, I'm here to be at your service whatever you command," Lady Asa hissed, looking almost pitiful, but Jetaime could already see through her act.

"You are forbidden in the east wing. You will stay in the consort's quarters and never step foot here ever again," Jetaime ordered. The last thing he wishes is to have to see her face.

"Yes, Your Highness," Lady Asa bows, Jetaime walks away with Lyn to his bed chamber.

He ordered them to prepare medicine for Lyn. "So you're not mad at me?" Lyn asked, sitting on the bed.

"No, well, a little, you almost got yourself into trouble, but I don't blame you," Jetaime hissed, looking at her lovely.

"Good, because I didn't do anything wrong. It was their fault, and yours for having such bad people walk around freely," Lyn mumbled. She was tempted to ask what happened to them but didn't dare.

"Yes, so I took care of it," Jetaime hissed, Lyn couldn't stop but imagine how he took care of it, but still she didn't want to know. She might not like it.

"I was told you wanted to eat candies?" Jetaime smile looking at her sad, cute face. Lyn couldn't help but remember how the candy tasted. It was the best and only one she had ever had.

"Wait, here, I will be back," Jetaime said to her, leaving in a hurry. "Wait -" Lyn mumbled after him, but he was already out of the room.

Now she was left alone in his chamber, and she walked around, trying not to think of what had happened.
