The Land of Signora

"A-another world!?", Ryan was shocked...too much to even remember that he was in the presence of the power capable of anything.

"Now, you will have these memories with you, so that you would be able to make mature decisions. But don't compare this world to Earth as you know. You will be in trouble if you do so. Also I only regulate this world, so the God of the one you are going to, will be different. You should be aware and cautious of this fact. Do you understand?"

Ryan was able to nod. Though bewildered, he was now remembering the teenage memories where he read the comics and mangas having the main character jumping to another world and becoming overpowered; and now he was anticipating, little by little, to follow those steps too.

The God could see the shift in his thoughts and started to share the basic knowledge of the world.

"The planet that you'll be transferred to is known as Signora. Also, it is not the only planet having life in the planet system- keep that in mind. Now, it is the outer most planet of the system having 9 planets in total. It consists of Humans. There are different species as you move from one planet to another. You shall find out about them on your own- some things are fun only when you discover them yourselves. Now, keep in mind that humans are the weakest of all the species and interplanetary travel is possible, so don't stand out too much. Just an advise. Any questions till now?"

Ryan was now getting excited. This was way too crazy. Different species other than humans? Interplanetary travel? If humans could know about his, the countries and governments across the world would go wild! "But I am dead now...sigh...", he smiled painfully and replied-"Yes, I understand. But is there something else I should know, like...you know...Magic??" He was feeling ridiculous, now that he said the word out loud. This would be too cliché...!

"I don't know how you were able to guess it, but yeah there are many energy sources and outputs for different species. For example, the va- ohoho...! I almost said it... Don't worry you'll find out about it yourself. This universe has too many worlds and too many Gods..." The God trailed off in his line of thoughts, and suddenly remembered about something important," Anyways, there is one more thing. I will be sending Seraph with you to monitor you. Your case is too special. Also, I want to know how much Signora has developed since I last visited it. If you know what I mean..."

Now it was Seraph's turn to be shocked. "You can't do this to me! I-"

"Also", cutting Seraph mid-sentence, the God continued, "Since we can't directly interfere with other world, I'll be turning her into a system that can monitor you. Also, she can even give you rewards if you complete some of her given tasks. How does that sound to you?"

Ryan, though he felt bad for Seraph, couldn't help but smile. He would also be getting a system! This would be like a cherry over the top of a whole cake. Seraph was beyond annoyed by this decision but she couldn't go against her creator. So the integration of both Ryan and Seraph went without any hitch and he was now good to go.

The God smiled at him and said," Last piece of advise, whatever may happen, don't ever gift anything to Signoria's God. Just remember this...hmm?"

Ryan nodded and then he was guided by the God to what seemed like a store room. Every random thing could be seen there- a gun, a toothbrush, and there was even a plushie! The God pushed him into a incubator like cylinder and whispered a blessing for him-" May you have the knowledge of Earth and the potential to face anything in Signora. May your deeds be bound by karma and not influenced by anything else."

Ryan bowed to the God, who started chanting and concentric circles developed around the cylinder. They started pulsating with bright white light and then glowed too brightly that he had to squeeze his eyes shut. Then everything went blank. He couldn't see even if he opened if eyes and couldn't move his body. He started panicking a little and called out to Seraph.

"What's happening! Seraph?...Seraph? Hello, can you hear me? Seraph? System? God's attendant? Hello???" This is strange, he thought to himself. Why isn't she responding? She must be sleeping, he thought to himself, after she refused to answer for some more time. He tried to justify her actions as he still believed in god's decisions."Hahh, let's just sleep...", he was too tired after the whole procession.

After what seemed like an hour, he felt something poking him on his chest. "Ow! What the...?" He was lying on a beach, naked, and a small human boy, tribal, as he could guess by his clothing (If he could even call the leaves on his crotch clothes...), was poking him. As he sat up, he felt bewildered by the fact that he had felt nothing7 to give him the feeling of lying on the beach- not the smell, not the grainy sand beneath him...nothing. It was as if he just appeared there in an instant. "Whatever...", he muttered and stood up. "Ahhh, let's live this life to the fullest..." he thought.

Just as he was about to turn though, he was hit by something hard on the back of his head. As his vision started blacking out, he could just make out the shape of a woman holding a rock. "Shit...",he thought and blacked out.
