Ryan's Marriage in the Oobe Tribe

Apparently, the boy having discovered a stranger, had called upon an elder girl, who attacked Ryan and made him sleep again. She tied him up with vine ropes and went to call upon some men who could carry him to the tribal lands. It took them some time to do so, enough for Ryan to wake up.

But, instead of flailing around, he pretended to be knocked out, as he was unsure if these people were harmless or not. The girl, asked the men to put him onto a wood bench, and laid him down onto it. So there he was, clad naked, tied in ropes, lying on a bench. The, girl was indifferent to it, in fact all the people went about there business as if there was nothing weird, except his skin colour, maybe. Ryan was fair, unlike anyone else in the tribe. Everyone passing by was bowing to the girl, so she might be an important figure, he pondered. She then called upon a hunk of a man, who with his cane, tapped on Ryan's forehead and started spouting something he couldn't understand at all. "Ow!", he cried, and opened his eyes, saw heaven, and shut it close immediately again. "I didn't see anything!"

In the tribe, the only thing they covered was their nether regions, so it was usual for them to have bare upper bodies. But, for the civilised Ryan, this was too much of a shock, and he just instinctively chose the words that would be most appropriate according to him. "Tahw si eh gniklat tuoba? dreiw nam..." The girl said, while leaning in for a closer look at his face. Ryan couldn't make out any of the words said again just now, so he was frustrated about his choices at the moment. First of all, he was tied up, so he could only see up, but a bare-chested woman was there. Secondly, communication through words was impossible, and Seraph wasn't responding too. "This is too much of a predicament." He was thinking about how to communicate, when a light flashed in his mind.

It was in the shape of a box and following words were written on it-

He contemplated what would be the most beneficial choice to him for the long term within a second and decided to go with it. So mustering up his strength, he pitched up and kissed the leaning girl for a second then fell down again.

The Elder stopped his talking and dropped his cane. The passersby just paused and stared at him. Some young men started glaring menacingly at him too. And the girl, her whole face was beet red. "Tahw evah uoy enod...(What have you done...) !!!?", the elder man cried out. Ryan was suddenly able to understand the words coming out of the mouth of the elder, which meant he had completed the task. But he was confused, as if kissing a girl was something deserving blasphemy. Well, she WAS kissed in front of everyone, but that was too much of a reaction.

Unbeknownst to him, what he had done actually, was the initiation of the marriage or a proposal, in other words. And someone who has initiated a marriage, can be married only if the receiver accepts the invitation with another kiss. If he/she rejects, both of them cannot marry for five years after it. The problem wasn't this though. The elder was the chief of the Oobe tribe who had captured him just now, and the girl, Anele, was his daughter and was arranged to marry the son of the neighbouring tribe- The Ag tribe's chief. Now, Anele could either refuse Ryan's proposal- this would cause her to wait for five years for marriage, which would result in severing their relationship with the Ag tribe, as it would be ridiculous making them wait over such carelessness. The other option she had would be to accept his proposal, which wasn't desirable or meritorious in any way possible.

But the girl, Anele had other plans. She had been dreaming of her marriage most of the time, as girls her age would, and couldn't wait for five more years. Also, Ryan was, in comparison to other men in the region, like an angel. Unbelievable, but true. He had been given the body by the God, so obviously, he had to have some perks there. After deciding between her dream and responsibilities, the girl surprised everyone present there by kissing him again. Unbinding him, she grasped his hands and pulled him away from the crowd, towards the shore, where he was first found. "Why was everyone so surprised just now?" Not knowing what just happened, he voiced out his concerns to her. They paused near the shoreline.

The waves gently lapped at their feet, and the dawning sun caused the water to glimmer and sparkle. A breeze caused Alene's hair to blow sideways, so she tucked them behind her ear. "We're married now, that's why...", her ears were red. Ryan stood still, staring at her face for a while. He turned and looked at the horizon. "Married, huh..." It reminded him of Susan. How he loved her, and it made tears to form at his eyes. Seeing the tears, Alene was worried, as if she had made some mistake there. "Do you hate it that much? Marrying me? That it makes you cry?"

Wiping his tears, he smiled at her, and then started grinning sheepishly. "Well, you did hit my head with a rock...Otherwise, I don't think there is something else I hate you for..." Suddenly, his gaze focused on her chest, and a tower emerged down below. Seeing it, Alene smiled coily,"Ara...What's this? Hmmm...so can I take this as an invitation from you?" Ryan's face went beat-red and his brain stopped working for a moment,"A-haha-haha, what do you mean...invitation...haha...haaa!?'

She suddenly grabbed his -Bleep- and pulled him behind the rocks. Being a man himself, Ryan couldn't refuse and they spent the whole night there exploring each other to the fullest...
