CHAPTER 25

　　Luca

　　Word of advice, never interrupt an alpha during alone time with his mate, it could get ugly. I almost shifted when I heard my name being called.

　　Maxine was hurriedly fixing her clothes and I jumped off the bed so fast I'm sure I was a blur.

　　I immediately calmed down when I saw it was Rosa.

　　"My dear boy I'm so sorry. I didn't know you had company. I was just coming to bring up your laundry. I'll just leave it here and be out of your way."

　　"No Rosa it's okay I want you to meet someone. Rosa, this is my mate Maxine. Maxine, this is Rosa, she's part of my family."

　　Rosa's eyes lit up when I called her family. How could I not think of her that way? She was there when I was born, she changed my diapers for crying out loud. She was like the grandmother I never got to meet.

　　"It's so nice to meet you luna."

　　"I'm not sure about luna but it's nice to meet you as well," Maxine said, extending her hand to Rosa.
