CHAPTER 100

　　Luca's POV

　　I waited for Liam's answer but I was getting impatient. My wolf was on edge just knowing that we were close to the answers that we had been searching for. All the nights I spent distracted, making up excuses and pretending things were fine would be over. This jackass of an alpha was the only thing that stood in my way.

　　"Why the hell do you care what happens to her? Didn't she almost destroy you're pack? Now you're trying to save her? What the hell is wrong with you? You have a mate. You should understand!"

　　He started to pace back and forth and for the first time I felt like I was witnessing an alpha fully break down.

　　"Nobody understands!"

　　"Calm down Liam."

　　"No! I wish people would stop telling me to fucking calm down!"

　　He was pulling his hair and on the verge of a shift. My wolf was already preparing for a fight. The other wolves immediately perked up ready to defend their alpha. I didn't come here for this shit.
