Malachi was sitting there leaning forward on his knees having fixed his clothes. He was lost in thinking again. He had an idea and he was going to put it into motion he'd decided. Malachi had been thinking about this a lot. How to get Natasha pushed out of the Standish holdings and Ariel in control of it.
Malachi heard a heavier footstep approaching and knew that it was his father. His skin prickled a bit. His animal could sense animosity coming toward it. Malachi stood up slowly as the door opened and his father came into the room and shut the door. The second he looked at him, he knew.
"Have you lost your mind?" Vento said very seriously, there was anger there and Malachi could see it.
"No." Malachi responded, his gut instinct told him what this was probably about.
"Really, because I was just down in the kitchen with Ariel. I find it completely confusing as to why your fucking scent is all over her." He snapped at him.
