Naga

The egg cracked out.

Emerging from it's thick shell was a small baby snake. With it's eyes red and having a beautiful white scale on it's back. It slithers back into the shell, hiding in and peeking out. I reached my hand out from below, avoiding scaring it. It slowly approach my hand and smell it. Before snuggling my hand and slithering up my arms.

"Cute Fellow right there."

[What are thou naming it?]

I contemplate for a while but gave up, because I got lazy.

"White."

Ryong scoffs, replying "[How Original.]"

As baby snake went up my neck, it tries to wrapped itself around like a scarf. I grabbed one of the meat that I had saved and gave it to eat. White ate, slowly due to it not having teeth yet. The sight of it struggling to eat was so cute.

While White chews it's food. Master Darius and I went around the treasure room to see if there was anything worth taking.

The area was really filled with gold and antiques. Especially gold entiques. Which kinda disappointed Master Darius.

"I don't really need anything here. I'm already rich." He smirked and smile while looking at all the antique.

I walked around finding something interesting for myself when something caught my eye. It was a sword. I took the weapon and unsheathe it. It was beautiful. It didn't look old or damaged at all. It was a Kris. An Indonesian weapon back in my world. It was abit strange seeing a weapon like this here to be honest.

"That's a peculiar looking sword there." as I showed master the sword for him to inspect.

Ryong stepped in to explain the weapon to us.

[A Kris is a dagger divided in 3 parts. The blade, the hilt and the sheath. The patterns on the blade itself refers to as Pamor, which describes what weapon properties it possess. The blade itself is in a wavy shape that is different from the tradition long sword or the slight curved Katana.]

[However the one you possessed is slightly different. Thy Kris has the length of a long sword. Looks like the blade is also in a form of a Naga]

"Naga?"

[Naga are a bunch of divine race that is consist of half human, half serpents. They reside mostly in Patala where some of them still on earth disguised as human.]

"Patala?'

[In a way, the underworld. But they are generally not evil just that they reside there. There are other minor God's who lives there. The Naga also assisted one of the Four Heavenly King in his missions.]

[However enough about the Naga, Thy blade is in the shape of a Naga Dragon which is slightly similar yet different.]

"Alright enough Chitchat, let's test the sword out."

Master Darius grabbed the sword and started swinging it around. With every swing he did, the sword seems to cut the air faster and faster. He then Imbued it with aura, the weapon was suddenly cleaving instead of cutting the air.

"Hoh, when putting Aura in the blade, the weapon doesn't get sharper, but heavier for more damage. Interesting.... Oh, there's a slot for mana."

Master Darius then Imbued the weapon with Mana. Suddenly the weapon extended.

"?!?!!"

The weapon suddenly extended way longer than it should have that it's starting to look like a rope, no it looked more like a _____

"Whip. It looks like a whip." Master Darius saw through my thought process and answered it for me.

"It's a Whip Sword. These are very rare huh. I haven't seen this in over 40 years."

Master Darius tried playing around with it. He started swinging and aiming the sword at a pot.

Like a whip it destroys the target that it was aimed at. But what was scary is that it still rips everything to shreds while hitting it's target.

"Wow. Really stronger than I thought. Here you go." As Master Darius passes me the weapon back.

"You don't want it?" I asked.

"I already have over hundreds of weapons so no thanks. You keep it, it can help train your Aura training. I'll just keep this paining."

With that I sheath the weapon back and put it back into inventory.

"We're still caved in. How do we leave?" I asked.

"Don't worry I have a plan." Master Darius said. He proceeds to summoned another weapon. This time a lance appeared in his hands.

"We are going to burst our way out of here!" He added laughing heartedly.

"Wait isn't that a bad id___"

"Too late."

With the tip of the lancer touching the ceiling above us. He evoked his skill.

[Frozen Drill]

The lance was sudden spinning and at a rapid speed, while the surrounding got colder. As Master Darius crank his shoulder to the back slightly, he suddenly thrust forward stabbing the ceiling. The whole ceiling starts to froze up as his lance suddenly got covered with a wind surrounding with ice, spinning like a drill. He grabbed my collar before he collides his lance against the ceiling again. This work as the ceiling started cracking and

Wrhhhhhhhh-!!!

The drill went off, digging the a hole from below to above in an impossible speed. The idea that I worked was so ridiculous that I just gave up thinking rational and went with the flow. As the drill digs all the up to the surface. It explodes silently, causing the entire surrounding to be frozen.

"Jeez, no wonder I didn't use this. This was too powerful, people might die from the cold."

I stared in a blank look looking at my master. No matter how you see it, at the end of the day, the real monster is still him. I comfort and cared for White as it tries not to puke when getting spin like an idiot all the way up and gave him some water in case he was gonna hurl again.

With this, we packed our stuff and head out to the next town.

[Ryong's POV]

While Red and Darius was checking out the sword. What concerned me more were the symbols of the treasure room that they did not pay attention to. Naga are creatures that belonged to Patala. However, all of these creatures belonged on Earth.

The fact that the symbols I'm reading was written in Sanskrit meant that they somehow managed to get here and have influenced something here.

The Kris was also another huge clue. Someone managed to create a weapon that can harness both Aura and Mana giving it a different properties. These meant that they managed to master both Aura and Mana at the time when creating this absurd weapon. Will the properties change again if Qi was used?

One thing is certain. Judging by the symbols written on the walls. Looks like the war between the Asuras and Deva, Earth will be dragged into it. Though I hardly care about the human race in general, Red might no survive the fight at all between the god and demons. He needs to get stronger as soon as possible.
