"Amitabha. What do you think, Bodhisattva Maitreyi?"
Within the Golden Chamber in the very center of the Gen Temple sat several Bodhisattvas. They sat cross-legged, in lines on either side of the Abbot, gazing at her with a serious expression.
"He agreed to it, surprisingly enough," she remarked with a smile. "He could use it. He is entirely lost within himself. Should he lift the fog of impurity that impedes his vision, then he would be able to discern who he is much sooner."
They nodded with a knowing expression.
"And, as for his power?" Bodhisattva Kakin, the Monk of Mystery, asked. "The reports of his feats in the Sekigahara Confederate are… hard to believe."
She stirred at the question. "I was unable to discern his true power. If he is truly capable of such power, then it is buried deep within him and isn't a part of his natural state."
The Bodhisattvas around her fell into thought.
